It's that time again.
kirleyfries and I are going to be participating in the Arlington Relay For Life to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It means that I am part of a team of people that will take turns running/walking a relay from Saturday evening on June 24th through Sunday morning on June 25th. That's right. ALL NIGHT. For more information, this is copied and pasted from my team page:
Relay is an overnight event that unites our community in a common effort to support the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. The Society works every day to prevent cancer and save lives by supporting groundbreaking research, affecting public policies that protect us from cancer, and educating people on how to prevent or detect cancer early. The Society helps people in our community who have cancer through its many programs and services. Together, we can help the American Cancer Society accelerate the progress toward a cancer-free future.

You might recognize it as the infamous Halloween drawing that started a ruckus on FAP. Well, I'm giving it up to the highest bidder, framed and sealed with a kiss. All money will go to the American Cancer Society via Relay for Life.
