Friday
Friday's update: (better late than never)
I went downtown with Amihalo25, Crystalmop7dust, and Jennifer about 7:30. We met up with Jeff, Heather guinness_grl (no, not that Heather), Jason jrowley, and Chris chris_bryan at the Backbooth to see the early show. Boxplow, Ashley Red, and Indorphine. It was a lot of fun. I had never seen Ashley Red before, but have added them to my “Must See” list. Good show. Of course it’s always fun hanging out with the Indorphine boys. Those guys are a riot. The show was over at 10:00 and I was more excited about seeing David Rankin’s cover band Groove Bone again. They were set to go on at 10:30 at Kate O’Brien’s. So, we went over there and Olivia met us a little later. They played for 3 hours, but I was still like “ONE MORE” when they finished at 1:30. They did go back up and play 2 more songs - so that was cool. On the way out, Olivia and I met these two people that wanted to party. LOL - turns out the guy is the owner of the “Central Street Bar” (where Harrison does his acoustics on Wednesdays) So we said goodbye to everyone else and Olivia and I headed over to Central Street with them. The bar was closed, and the employees were just finishing up and leaving. He was like, “It’s open bar, whatever you want - you can have” We left there about 4am and went to an office above a bar on Orange avenue. Of course, he had a bar up there too. It was a really cool “office” By the time we left to come home, Olivia had already left and this guy lives out by Universal also, so we said goodbye to his friend Sonja, and he gave me a ride home in his black Hummer. Gotta love those cars - it’s like sitting in a living room.
I came home and Jennifer woke up - I think I was telling her about the rest of the night after she left. I fell asleep during the conversation.
