I have a bunch of quilting/sewing stuff I'd like to pass on to a new home. I'm near Davis Sq in Somerville. Preference for someone who will take all of it, but I could parcel off the quilting stuff for a beginner interested in learning to hand quilt.
Here's the list:
- Queen sized finished quilt top needs batting & quilting (good for hand quilting practice)
- 10 spools of cotton quilting thread for hand quilting (to match quilt above)
- 4 or 5 packs of hand quilting needles and a holder/caddy for thread & needles
- "Your First Quilt Book" by Carol Doak (it's a great starter book and good for reference as well)
- "Sewing with Nancy" - 5 How-to books, on quilting projects & sewing clothing, etc.
- Fabric Box cross stitch kits (2 - one opened with everything there, the other unopened)
- 3 Fabric covered picture frames from Pier1 (3x3 pictures size??)
- Sewing Pattern!!!! two boxes and one portable file filled with a wide variety of patterns for women, men and kids clothing in a wide range of sizes, costumes and craft projects.
- big green/taupe tackle box. It was only ever used for craft & sewing notions and has the dividers
Pictures of everything can be seen here. There will be more stuff as we begin the de-crufting part of our move. Oh, and for those who haven't heard, me and
mattlistener are selling our condo and moving in with our partner
docorion! Oh, and if anyone is interested in buying a lovely 2 bdr condo near Ball Sq complete with wonderful upstairs neighbors, let me know :)
