I love your art too! :D I didn't know you liked my art that much. ::blush::
You think I'm optimistic? hehe Last few entries have been so angry haha, now I'm tearing down my reputation! oh noes! XP All and all I'm pretty bubbly though. :P

I LOVE Miyazaki so so so much! Hmmm favorite one....? I love them all for different reasons....
Most Badass one: Princess Mononoke
Most epic story: Nausicaa
Most touching: Totoro (I can stand for this movie to END. I always want to know more. ;_;)
Most likely to make me cry for 10 minutes: Grave of the Fireflies (I can't watch this one again for like 3 or more years. I recommend it highly, but JESUS CHRIST. It's a tough one.)

Hmm favorittttteeeeeeeee
It's between Totoro, Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke.
Princess Mononoke? hahah I can't say for sure. :P

"Only Yesterday" is REALLY REALLY NICE. It's one of the more obscure ones. It's about a woman who starts thinking about memories of herself in 5th grade and thinks about what her 5th grade self would do in her current position. I haven't seen that one in a LONG time. I've only seen it once... I own it. I think I am going to watch it again tomorrow. Awwwww..... really good.

Some of them are epic and just blow everything I've ever seen out of the water. Mononoke and Nausicaa are what I consider to be his two EPIC films. They pack a lot of action, passion, heart wreching emotion and painful honor into one story. They both attack the clash of nature against man and machine really well too.
But Totoro is a completely different KIND of film, so I don't feel like it's fair to compare it to them. It's got a soft, magical innocence that beams through and makes me feel just as stunned as I was when I saw it as a child.

haha you've opened up a can of worms!
Anyway - the "Kiki thinks in grass" one is great for LJ because it looks so thoughtful, which one is often being when they LJ it up. :P Serene yet serious.
