I got a new job!
Yay me! I finally have a real job! No more Crappy Tire for me! I got a job as a receptionist at a place that installs locks. I think it starts at $10 an hour so that is definitely a plus, then I can hopefully save up enough money to go to Thailand in April. Even if the job only paid $9 it wouldn't be so bad, at least I get to sit on my ass all day rather than run around, get dirty and deal with bitchy customers at Canadian Tire.
In other news I think I got a concussion on Saturday. I drank too much and fell and hit my head on the toilet (I think) at least I know it was somewhere in the bathroom. I got a black eye and a very sore head and felt like crap on Sunday. I couldn't do anything but sleep. It was even hard to make a sandwich! I thought this was because I was hung over, but then Monday rolled around and I still felt dizzy and strange and really sleepy and had to call in sick for work. Even yesterday I still felt a little strange, but I worked and today I felt pretty much better other than the fact that I have a black eye and my head hurts still.
Also I am moving on Saturday. Still in Vancouver, but in a different place because the landlords here are renovating and then selling the house so they don't wany anyone here. It kinda sux since I really like this place and the price. Because of this we have to get rid of our cat, we're giving him to Jane's friends Stacey so at least we can still visit him sometimes. Our new place is kinda small but the bedrooms are a good size and very nice (with hardwood floors). Also the place has no carpeting which is good cuz then we don't have to vacuum (we can swifer!) and our vacuum sux as it is.
Wow that was my longest post ever! guess I haven't updated in awhile, I've been too lazy, but I got really excited from getting a new job!
