Soooo jealous! "MY MOMMY!" *shoves* And when Husband tries to give me hugs or kisses she gets REALLY mad, and she will run over and grab my leg, or try to shove him. *rolls eyes* We try to get her to recognize the need to share Mommy, but how successful we are depends on how tired she is, and I'm assuming she's in a phase that will pass. :D
It continues to amaze me, though, how different the two of them are. AG33 *never* had this jealousy.
It might just be a younger sibling thing. (Do you have siblings? I don't remember.) When we were little, I didn't think about my younger sis too much, except that I thought she was a tagalong and grabby for attention. After we grew up she explained that she really had a complex the whole time that I was "smarter" and "better," just because I had the advantages of development on her. She was really, really competitive with me, whereas I was only competitive with myself/possibly my schoolmates. And possibly I/AG33 have the security of knowing that we've had all the parental attention in the past, and have had the gift of never having had to share?
Could be. I have a brother two years younger. We were close enough in age that I didn't really think of him as a "little" brother, exactly. We were buddies. I think he may have some issues similar to your sister, though.
However, the other thing, apparently this whole MY MOMMY thing is going around her day care class. I think that may be where she's getting it from, at least in part.
