“Do you really like me to start with the lips or your neck?”
Jin said smilingly as now that Kazu’s arms are linked up at his neck his coat fell at the bench when Kame turned around and the lavender scent that always intoxicate him is now here again carried by this younger boy as well as now that Jin has a good view of that smooth neck that glows from creaminess with the help of the nearby lamp post he concluded that lavender scent and neck and shoulder are a deadly combination
“And why are you wearing such a dress at a time like this? You could have been mugged or harassed on your own here” Jin said while averting his eyes from Kame
“Hey, Mr. Traffic Policeman is this the time for interrogations as far as I know I did not do anything wrong, and again as far as I know it was you who owes me for making me wait that long” Kame ranted and seeing that a soft blush appears on the beautiful face of the older boy he continued his teasing
“And also if you can still remember it was you who said that you can only go for a date with me if I can wear a dress, a red dress to be exact, but as that would be too impossible to do so I thought of a replacement but still in line with what you like” Kame removing his hands from Jin’s neck and rolling his exposed shoulder to emphasize what he means
Such a tease Jin thought
“Alright you win, it was my fault let’s go on to that date, do you have anything specific on your mind or let’s just stroll and decide on where we want to eat?” Jin said totally ignoring the teasing of the younger boy and the Kame knew it
“Do you think I’ll just treat our first date that simple, of course I have prepared something, if I may take the lead here officer?” smiled Kame and taking a low curtsy while saying that
“Then my baby,,, go on and lead the way!” Jin extending his hand to Kame and entwining it with his, he felt a little bit of tingling electricity jolt through his veins from that connection
“Baby I liked this, this holding hands, our fingers laced over each other, I feel so connected with you!” while Kame was saying that Jin tightens his grip on heir laced fingers and giving the younger boy his most dazzling smile
It was intoxicating; this boy is really like a drug for Jin for it heightens his senses and his awareness
They started off their walking going through town, some people are looking at them with different kind of stares, some with curiosity, some with amusement, some with confusions but mostly they received a loving look as they looked like any other couple out for the night with the girlfriend arms linked at his boyfriends arm and occasionally looking up smiling or laughing over the jokes that the boyfriend are telling him or leaning in closer to get more physical contact
They rounded off to a curve from the last rows of clubs and bars and they are now walking in a deserted alley and Jin is now looking at their location as surely he knows the best places to have their first dinner date and this place definitely doesn’t have it, the place is more of like big store houses and warehouses all lined up and he was dreading that any moment now a group of mob will come out and mug them
“Kazu are you sure we are on the right location and we are not lost?”
“Jin baby trust me I know this place” smiled Kame
“Alright you’re the boss” head shaking Jin trusted his baby
Just as Jin thought that they have walked enough and will ask Kame to make sure again that they are not lost the younger boy stopped at a black old warehouse that Jin thought is being used as a hide away for kidnap for ransom cases or the place where all the murder cases are being done, he thought that the only yellow line is missing to make this place a restricted place
“Are you sure this is the place Kazu?” Jin asked as Kame is now in the act of opening the door of the warehouse
“Of course I am sure baby”
“And we will not be sued, detained or anything right?”
“Baby, I know you’re on the side of the law so I will always protect you and I will not mess your life” so then Kame proceeded to look inside the warehouse

“Ok, I want you to promise me to close your eyes before we go inside”
“Why can’t we just go inside like the usual?” Jin still has a little apprehension as a part of his training as a traffic policeman places like this are most suspicious
“Ne, baby this is a surprise, please…” and Kame his adoringly pouty girlfriend pouted at Jin and the boyfriend knew he lost again
“Alright, I promise I will keep my eyes closed”
“Pinky promise?” Kame bringing his pinky up waiting for the other one to make his promise
“Baby, pinky promise!” and Jin twining his pinky over his Kazu’s pinky finger
“Thank you baby, that’s why I knew you really are the best, now close your eyes” and getting Jin’s hands the younger one opened the door and leading the older one inside
“Watch out for the low…”
“Ouch, itai Kazu” Jin felt a very hard steel bar hitting the side of his head and instantly he knew that is the bar of the door frame
“I’m sorry baby, I was about to warn you of that but your too fast in coming inside..” and while Kame was saying that he is cupping his boyfriends head and lightly kissing the head to at least ease the pain away but he cannot keep laughing over it
“Why are you still laughing, it was your fault I bumped my head there your pulling me too quickly and asking me to close my eyes and not assisting me, if you don’t stop laughing I will open my eyes” Jin was really not that seriously hurt over the bump he was more concerned that his girlfriend is kissing his head where he wanted that kiss to be elsewhere

“No please, I’m sorry that was my bad, I got to excited that I forgot how tall you are” although he is no longer laughing Jin can still hear him suppressing his laughter and he bet that those eyes are twinkling with delight right now
“I will release your hand but don’t open your eyes yet until I tell you to”
“Pinky promise” and Jin raising his right pinky again as he is now familiar to his Kazu for making him do what he tells him to do and to convince the younger one Jin initiated the pinky promise
As much as Jin wants to open his eyes he cannot do so as he wanted to please his girlfriend over all his whims as he now thinks that the younger boy took a lot of effort to do this surprise dinner date that they will have now.
He can smell the lavender fragrance that he love so much about his girlfriend, he can also smell mixtures of different flowers but slightly only as the most prevalent are the lavenders, although his eyes are shut closed he can picture flashes of lights being opened one by one and that a soft music is now playing at the background making him more aware of why he was here at the first place
“Jin baby, open your eyes now” it was Kame’s soft request that added goose bumps on his skins
Jin slowly open his eyes and his breath was taken away, on the centre of this old warehouse surrounded by many paintings of lavenders illuminated by candles placed in all areas to give the lavender paintings their needed lighting was a table for two, the motif chosen for the set up was color lavender and gold with a dash of silver thrown in on some places, there was a four big candle holders at each corner of the table to serve as their pillar draped in lavender and gold ribbon and sash encircling the body of the candle and dropping all the way to the floor and at the bottom are scattered candles in the same colors making the whole place glow in lavender gold and silver, and the centre piece is also made out of lavender and white orchids
What took his breath the most was the boy standing at the back of the table directly looking at him with eyes that glows with his most sincere loveable look that he thought that the candles just added more glow to him and that lavender scent just wrapped him more and trapped him in under his magic spell
“You really are beautiful” whispered Jin
“What’s that Jin, do you like this?” Kame asked now smiling broadly
“I love this” he answered the first thing that came up his mind for he knew that this is just the perfect date that anyone can give him
“I’m glad you love this, I thought that one look at it and you will burst running outside” Kame said and looking at his eyes he really did get worried over it
“Come on and sit here, don’t just stay there officer” teased Kame
Kame served them their food and it was a three course meal composed of creamy potato soup with baked mushroom in butter for starter followed by beef broccoli sautéed in American style gravy for the main course and lastly tiramisu sweets for dessert, and over the course of the meal Kame served them white wine to alter the taste of their taste buds
“That was delicious baby, did you cook them?” Jin said while definitely enjoying his tiramisu
“Hai, though I had some help from my friends over the culinary arts department but I did all the hard work” boast Kame and he remembered he owe those friends some help over their arts project because of this one
“Hmm, I like people who can cook” Jin said fleetingly and deliberately looking at Kame’s eyes
“And what about these paintings? Are they yours?” Jin asked again before Kame can reply to his earlier remark
“Ah yes, those are my old paintings at the university I borrowed them from my professor, it was actually harder to borrow it, but when I told him that my grandmother was ill and she wants to see those, my professor relents but he said I can only borrow those that are not in display at the university gallery, these are from the art department hall only so they are not that great” Kame said as a matter of fact and remembering the bribe that he had to make to his professor just so he can borrow his paintings, it will mean additional tutoring at his classes
“Are you kidding me, these are beautiful paintings” really Jin was amazed on how those drawings affect him, it’s like seeing those flowers alive and not boxed in a frame
“Thank you for saying that, but I doubt that it’s just your full tummy talking now” said Kame but he believes the sincerity of Jin’s word so that sent him to another level of happiness
“Kazu, I’m serious these paintings are beautifully done” and Jin stared at the younger one’s eyes to fully give him his sincerity
“I believe you Jin,,,,ano baby, errr uhhmmm baby can we dance?”
That completely was a turn around of the table and Jin did not even expected that question or a request from the younger boy
“I don’t dance Kazu, and there’s no more music” Jin thought that with that reasoning the younger boy cannot push his request for the music that was playing earlier has stopped playing halfway through dessert
“There is baby” Kame stood up and waited for Jin to join him extending his hand to him
“Kazu, baby this is embarrassing there is no music” Jin grunted but still stood up
And on cue soft violin music played at the back ground giving the silent warehouse a music that was meant for two people entirely on their own world
“You really did prepare a memorable date Kazu” Jin taking now the extended hand of Kame and slowly drawing their bodies closer until only an inch separated their heads
This is intoxicatingly more than he can imagine and he had been intoxicated since meeting this boy
Kame’s hand is now back at Jin’s neck while Jin’s hands are pressed at Kame’s back occasionally travelling up to the younger boys nape to lightly press soft massages that sent shivers to the younger boys spines
“How did you find someone to play for us at this time?”
“He’s also a friend from the music department, I told him that I needed his romantic side so I can impress my date and being really romantic at heart he agreed to help me” Kame said but the truth is he now owes the guy a favor of minding his part time work at delivering newspaper for a week
“Aren’t you so popular Kazu baby”
Kame now knew he made a lot of favor and that he owed a lot of people because of this date, though not monetary but still it will take his time
“Are you glad that you came to this date?” Kame averting his eyes from Jin asked that question
“I am, and to think of it I would have been a total fool if I did not go to our date, and thinking of all this trouble that you had to go through, thank you baby” Jin said and honestly he will feel bad if he will come to know all of this after he did not go to this date
“And now you know why I have to wait there for almost an hour to still hope that you will arrive” slowly explained further by Kame
“Yes, that was a dumb thing of me to do” admitted Jin
“And I was really in a bad position there, right; I might get mugged or harassed all by myself, right?” Kame uses a very small voice to say that and draws closer to Jin making a slight shiver
“Just thinking of it baby, gives me the scares already” Jin hugging Kame more tightly
“And because I’m wearing the dress you told me you would like to see from someone in order to date that person, I have to bear the coldness of the night and I might have gotten a chill now and a slight cough and cold” Kame said that while in between coughing and heaving small breaths
“Baby, I am so sorry for making you go all through those things, it’s just that I was a fool for thinking a lot of things and not thinking about only you, can you please forgive me?” Jin said seriously and digging his head deeper at the crown of the younger boys head and not seeing the mischief that is now creeping at his twinkling eyes
“You will do anything?”
“I will do anything you want me to do”
“I want you to,,, ah no never mind, it will be too impossible for you” said Kame hesitatingly
“Kazu, whatever it is I will do it for you,, ahh pinky promise!” Jin let go of hugging Kame and produces his pinky
“Alright, pinky promise” Kame entwined his pinky over Jin’s pinky
“So what it is that you want me to do?” asked Jin while their pinky’s still connected
“Alright, I want you to meet my grandmother…”
“Is that it, that would be no problem you know I can charm anyone” boasted Jin
“Well, not exactly just it you know” fidgeted Kame
“Then tell me baby, you know for you I will go through great length” continued teasing of Jin as he can clearly see that the other boy is a little bit unsure about himself now
“Alright, you have to meet my grandmother and ask my hand from her and promise her to take care of me!” declared Kame victoriously
