(no subject)
I've been working on decorating my little Easter tree that I'm making. I have made some little embellished felt eggs. I also have some cute felt butterflies on there and chenille chicks. I am still debating over whether or not I should paint the branches white. It looks okay as it is, but maybe it will pop more if they are white. I would just paint them without hesitation but without having a good area to spraypaint, it's quite a dramatic event to paint things. We'll see.
It's nice and sunny today. I even got to wear my sunglasses for the first time! Whoo =)
My inlaws are coming over for dinner on Friday. I think I'm going to make lasagna. I found a recipe on how to make your own ricotta cheese, so I'm going to do that tomorrow. That way I will still have time to go get some from the store if it turns out to be a horrible disaster. I have a nice raspberry trifle recipe that I want to try, but I haven't quite pinpointed side dishes yet. I'll probably just go with salad and garlic bread- you know the standard lasagna side dishes *L*
