I've never played CoM, either?

And it took me several years to beat Kingdom Hearts. xDDD Mostly because I was underleveled when I got to second Ansem, and so I went back and fought the Ice Titan several times to level up, before losing interest entirely, but, uh... YEAHWHATEVER.

It is card system (Axel + ? because i don't even remember if he's the first boss, or not). It's hard to shift through them all and pull out the right ones.

Ho ho. o_o I see. Card systems are hard to play unless it's like...pokemon cards. I so totally still have the TCG for the Gameboy color 8D

I don't see the appeal ... and I feel like there are much better games to spend my time playing.

Yea, my brother has KH1 and KH2 but even though I like Disney enough, I've got 0 interest in picking them up.

On the side, I'm also wary of a fandom that decides crossing anyone with Goofy is ... a good idea.

From what I know about you, you might find Disgaea to be interesting? Along with the other games produced by NipponIchi, the storylines are pretty parody-ish of anime, and the characters are very endearing. Original Japanese seiyuu track -> love. Disgaea might be a little hard to find though, so you can keep a look out for Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom which have more recent releases. Don't really need to know previous storylines to follow the games.
