(no subject)
IT'S FRIDAY!!! I should be happy that it is Friday but I have so much to do that I wish it was Thursday!
Last weekend was a cool weekend. My Great Grandmother turned 90 and we had this huge surprise party. My Nanny put it all together and she did such an amazing job. I havnt seen some of my family in so long that I spent half the day whispering to my Nanny and Mom "Who's that??". It was fun, but very long. Josh and I got to the place at 10 to help and did'nt leave till after 6:00. But to be 90 years old is an awesome thing, for my Granny anyways. The woman is amazing! You would think she was in her 70'2 or 80's. Her 93 year old sister was there and she was the cutest dern thing in the world. I wanted to take her home with me! :)
Sunday was also a very fun day - I went over to Jenn's house and made her and William dinner because they had been working so much, I wanted to give them a break! Dinner was not all that great, but it was fun. I now know to not use too much THYME in the recipe! :) Josh also sold me out that night!! He revealed a secret that was supposed to be just between me and him. So he is in BIG trouble!!! :)
Monday morning, about 2:30 AM, my phone rings and it's Dennis telling me Trudy is in labor. So I was up the rest of the night wondering if I should go to the hospital or not. She really has not made me part of the pregnancy and I have not talked to her in weeks so I was not sure how I was going to handle it. But I did get up and take a shower and went to the hospital and it actually turned out great. Trudy wanted me there all day and we had fun and I felt honored to be with her and her family all day. Faith Elizabeth is so cute!! But what is weird, being in that room all day with Trudy and with the baby, I did not have that overwhelming feeling of "I want to have a baby so bad". I actually saw everything Trudy was going through and the word ADOPTION just keep popping up! I really don't know if I want to HAVE a baby! I was told over and over again by Trudy and Resa how wonderful it is, but it does not look so wonderful. I won't go into detail, but im not feeling that whole thing! I think God forgot to insert and woman/mother gene in me! :)
Tonight I have to take Josh's cousin to get a test run for her hair and makeup for her wedding that is 10/1. And tomorrow is her shower. And Sunday is my Nanny's birthday lunch/dinner! Too much stuff! MONDAY is a chill day for me! :)
OH OH OH, every year Josh gets made at me because I dont dress up for halloween so last night I realized what I am going to be.....Im gonna dress up as a ghost and go around pinching peoples nipples! Im gonna be Jenn's ghost - Seriously!
