First week
My first week is almost completed. Not much new things since I read documents all week long. I put together the whole bunch of admin papers in order to receive my first pay next week, my insurance and my pension. Today I am starting to read other stuff but now closely related to the project I am involved. I am reading some new Java stuff.. JMX.
Yesterday I had to "parties", one 4-6 here at Expedia, where we were supposed to have a presentation about the business results but because of a Production problem this was delayed. I also had a 6-8 with my old company (Standard Life), where a couple of friends came to say a last good luck to me and another employee leaving the company.
I am looking forward to next week where I will be more involved in my project.
Time to relax during a week-end spend with Karine who's not working. We plan to go horseback riding or hiking at the mont-saint-hilaire.
