Mun's note: This particular scene takes place about two-three days after a rather unexpected conversation with a certain senator. But as OC/AU as this is, one has to understand the fact that for Anakin the sun rises and sets with Padme. If she asked him to give her the universe he'd do everything in his power to do it without hesitation ;)

((OOC: I'm getting caught up. Really. I swear. Things have just been really crazily busy lately.))

Padme smiles when the message finally arrives and sits down to read through it. She was starting to worry that perhaps something had happened to him. Or that he had simply changed his mind about turning away from the Emperor.

She bites her lip thoughtfully before penning a reply, returning the affectionate undertones of his letter. She suggests that a meeting might be possible in a few days or so, depending on whether she can slip away without detection again.

She encrypts and sends her reply, deleting all traces of the messages from the system, before getting up to take a walk and pass her information along to the rebel leaders.

OOC- ^.^ No worries I know how RL can be especially this time of year! @.@; Er I hope you don't mind my brief temping as Mon Mothma. I couldn't think of a logical way to dodge having her around >.>

The news that Padme carries is definately unexpected and it takes Sabe a moment to decipher if Padme is seoirus or just testing her skills. But after one look at her friend's expression and she has no doubt in her mind this is no joke.

Mon Mothma too studies the information presented to her as the former decoy remarks.

Where did you get this?

She quickly waves her hand as she shakes her head.

Probably best we don't know. Less chance of information being spilt if we get caught.

Mon Mothma having completed her study of the information given offers the former Queen a guarded smile.

Your contact certainly know what they are doing. Which could mean one of two things, either we've been given an extrodinary oppertunity or it's a trap.

But despite her normal caution the elderly woman's eyes seems to flicker with hope. She obviously

"I can assure you that my contact is very reliable. I would stake my life on this information." Sure the information can be trusted? Oh yeah. That's definately conviction in Padme's eyes too. It's Anakin, after all. He wouldn't lead her wrong. "This is an incredible opportunity. We certainly can't afford to pass it up."

"I know they would be willing to give me further information in the future as well." She adds.

OOC- how do you want to do this? Do you want to rp the attack? Or should I have Vader and Sabe muse post the end results from their perspective? Also do you want to get other players involved in this? Ie. Obi-wan et al? I'm cool either way myself =)

The head commander furrows her brow noting the evident conviction in Padme's expression and words. The former queen had proven herself on many an occassion and has given her no reason to doubt the seriousness of her information or allies. But she has to be cautious in all aspects of this matter, something like this happens but once in a lifetime, so when it does as Amidala said herself it shouldn't be passed up. But caution should also be taken into consideration.

She glances to Sabe and notices the handmaiden looks both curious and supportive of her bestfriend. The bodyguard was good with reading into such situation and it's obvious as well she agrees with Padme's assessment. Very well then. If we are to do this we must prepare and act quickly before this window of oppertunity

((OOC: I'll leave that up to you- I know Palpatine's mun is planning on posting today, but whomever you want to involve is fine by me :) Although... if we went through with rp'ing the attack, and Palpatine figured out something was going on and captured them, that might be an ideal time for someone to go to Obi-Wan for help.))

Padme nods in agreement, returning Sabe's smile. "Thank you. We need to act upon this quickly, though. I have absolutely no doubt in the information, and I would- and AM- trusting my contact with our lives, but the sooner the better- before anything has the time to change the situation."

OOC- Oh sweet! If his mun is getting into action I definately want them involved in this!! I like the idea of rping the attack and having Palpatine learning of it and capturing them. That would be so perfect! Everyone would think it was a trap, I imagine too Padme's trust in Anakin would be a little shaken even though Vader wouldn't be responsible for this. Although I don't want Palpatine to figure out that Vader is involved right away. At least not yet...Hmm so who would go to Obi-Wan for help? I mean if they are all captured?...Unless you're refering to Vader swallowing his pride and going to his former master? Now that would be so intence...

Also should we just continue the rp here or start another thread?

Sabe's curiousity grows at the conviction of Padme's words. She is almost dying to know now just who it is that landed them this powerful information. However not for a moment would she ever consider the one in question to be none other then the Emperor's second in command. Instead she wonders if perhaps Padme's contact is

The highly encrypted message that waits for him isn't exactly expected, yet the sight of it causes the Sith Lord to tense in nervous anticipation. He knows from the channel it could mean only one thing, she had either recieved the message or someone else had. Fearing the worse he initially tries to ignore it, but at the desperate hope that it might carry good news from his angel no less causes him to activate the message. He tries to will his racing heart to calm but it is a hopeless cause one that is instantly lost the moment he reads the code name given
