Destroying the Past. *Locked to hunterventress *

It has been two standard days since he found himself landing on the Sith forsaken planet of Rattatak. Barren wasteland, couldn't even come close to describing this wretched place. But his never ending search brought him here and he wasn't about to turn away now because of some foolish lingering memories of the past. Though simular in some ways to ( Read more... )

Asajj has spilled enough Jedi blood. Not enough to satisfy herself but she has spilled enough. And she feels Vader which brings a smirk to her face. His power, his energy intrigues her though. It's something that would be fun to play with. But, of course, she's not out in plain view. Who in their right mind would do something like that? Even on their home planet. So she stays hidden, ready and waiting. Many have died today and she'd do the same to Vader if he made even one single wrong move.

It is not too long before he arrives to the destination that he seeks. He knows she would not be in plain sight. After all if he was in her position he wouldn't be either. Her skills though not refined in the literal sense of the word. A whirlwind of darkness he once described her force aura to his former master years ago and it would seem this still rings true for her today.

Fascinating, intriguing even but not unconquerable. Nothing in this universe is unconquerable, not even him. Despite his wishes to believe otherwise his painful experience on Mustafar and the loss of his angel taught him that even the "chosen one" can be broken. Pushing down these thoughts once more he turns guarded entering the fortress to which the energy signature draws him. His senses on full alert he is ready for anything and is expecting the unexpected. If there is one thing she was good at it was this.

And before long there's a lightsaber at Vader's throat and her second lightsaber right behind him so that even if he turned around he'd be dead. So either way it went he couldn't move forwards or backwards. Her Force energy is darker than what Vader would remember it as is his anger.

"What are you doing here?" The words are demanding but it's who she is. And he is, afterall, on her homeworld where he didn't belong. And she wouldn't hesitate to kill him just to get him off of her homeworld.

Like the whirlwind she seems to appear from no where though he is ready for it. The blades remain poised at his throat and his back locking him into position as he inwardly smirks. Truth be known he could just as easily use the force to shut off her sabers, but then she would no longer feel in control thus making her all the more dangerous.

So instead he remains frozen in position permitting himself to be held captive as he relishes the dark aura that surrounds her. It isn't so much different then his own, although it is far less controlled. Her words are direct to the point and for a brief moment he is reminded of another who also held no patience for small talk. But now is not the time to reminisce over his dead queen.

I am here for the Jedi that have recently departed from this place.

He states simply.

And everyone knows that someone as dark as her that doesn't feel in control is even more dangerous. And she is dangerous. A lot more dangerous than what he thinks she is. And she feels his dark aura as well. But she doesn't care about it. Not about him or anyone else. She cares for herself and the death of the Jedi. That's all she gives a damn about.

"Well, obviously you just missed them."

"Indeed I have."

He states dryly not wanting to dance around the issue any longer.

"But then so have you."

He continues in calm tones, more calm then he feels at the moment.

If we move quickly we can remove them before they slip completely from our grasp.

She stepped back but she didn't disengage her lightsabers. But he did make her laugh. Oh that was just too funny. And the laugh was as dark as her aura.

"We don't have to move quickly. I know where they're heading."

There's a smirk on her lips. She knows where the Jedi are heading. Knows very well where they will be soon enough.

He inwardly smirks to himself. She backed down, weapons still drawn but at least he had her attention. Though he doesn't see why this is so amusing. But that isn't his problem and so he turns to face her quietly. Noting her words he raises a hidden brow.

"If you know where they are headed, why haven't you stopped them by now?"

His words though harsh from his vocorder aren't not spoken in malice or mocking rather curiousity. She wasn't known for her patience, then again neither is he. So why wait?

"Because I had a dark man step foot on my planet and get in my way." She states simply. He'd gotten in her way of going after the Jedi. And no, she wasn't known for her patience. She had no patience.

Now it is his turn to chuckle. He nods slightly in reply as he studies her for a moment. He didn't want to negotiate but at this point it would seem he really had no choice in the matter.

I am not here to be the Jedi's distraction. We both want the same thing; to ensure the last of their remnants are destroyed. I have no doubt you could easily remove them of your own accord, but I have no intention of turning back now. Perhaps it would be in both of our best interests to seek them out together. To close them in from both sides so to speak.

He inwardly cringes at his own words realizing to his annoyance how much he sounds like his former master when he would negotiate.

Or you could just tell me where they are headed and I could tend to them myself. It would certainly ensure that I'd be out of your way.

He offers.

"And like hell I'm letting you have your fun with the Jedi." She states firmly and heatedly. Like hell she'd let him have all the fun. Oh no. Not happening. Not happening at all. Over her dead body.

Darth Vader inwardly grins. In some ways she almost reminds him of an Padawan who is eager to begin their first mission and doesn't want anyone to help them. But the smile promptly fades as he pushes down the memories of his own eagerness to prove himself to Obi-Wan during his younger years. That part of him had died sometime ago and he'd be damned if he was going to return to it. Besides she is neither a foolish child or a learning Padawan.

Well in that case, perhaps it would be in both our best interests if we hunted them together. Seeing that neither of us will be detered from our goal of removing them that is.

She has no memories to hold her back. Not even ones of Count Dooku. Why bother with memories when all they try to do is eat you alive. And at Vader's words she doesn't even stop and turn to see if he's following her. She merely walks away from him heading towards her ship. She had Jedi to capture, torture and kill painfully.

He watches her walk past in mild disbelief. Direct and to the point, somehow he isn't surprised. Without another word he turns and heads out of her lair promptly returning to his own ship as he surmises that despite her reply it would seem she would take him to their site after all. Which is fine by him, after all the more time they wasted talking the more time was bought for their prey to escape...

But Asajj wasn't known for letting her prey escape. Oh they could run and hide but they never never escaped. And she didn't give a damn about how this dark man viewed her. He could view her however he wanted and she wouldn't care. The dark Force rolled around her like a blanket, a very dangerous blanket that would whip out at any moment ready to strike.

Stepping onto her ship she started up its take off sequence. The dark man could follow or he couldn't. She didn't care. Just as long as he stayed out of her way.

He promptly enters the custom built Tie Fighter watching the one ahead in silent comtemplation. From the force he can feel the darkness wrapping itself like a cloak around her all the while remaining uncontrolled and wild. It is a strange thing to witness, and yet oddly fascinating. He was familar with the dark side and it's many forms but this was unusual. The Sith always tried to control it to overpower it. The Jedi tried to be one with it but she has done a bit of both. Curious he decides perhaps it would be wise to ask his master about this, perhaps the older Sith Lord would have some insight on this phenominon and how to use it to their advantage.

But for now he had a task at hand and he wasn't about to back down because of some mystery. Following her movements his ship soon takes to the air as he prepares to be led to a destination that is certain to reach it's demise and soon.
