Daisuke pretty much raced down the dorm hallway, his sneakers pounding against the carpet, more than happy to see Riku despite the concerns he'd been sharing earlier with Dark on the journals. It had only been a few weeks since he'd last saw her, but it had felt so much longer than that. He couldn't wait to show her the campus and all the friends he'd made . . . and Dark.
Truth be told, the idea of Riku meeting Dark when he wasn't in his body made Daisuke a little nervous, but it sure beat the alternative, and Yuuko had told him that just meeting Riku or Risa wouldn't be enough to make Dark lose his new body. Of course, this also meant that he could get close to Riku now without transforming and giving away his secret, a fact that was definitely at the forefront of Daisuke's mind.
The thought caused his emotions to jump between nervous and excited even as he threw open the double doors to the boys' dorms, skidding to a stop in the main hall as he spotted Riku. A huge grin appeared on his face as he called out to her.
"Riku!!"
