"OH. I'm sorry it's just that you kept it extended and were speaking to me weirdly." He would offer his hand, "Uh sorry. Oh okay!" He kept up with the other and then smiled, "Um later can you show me where the teacher dorms are?"

Sabin nodded and continued smiling. "Not a problem, kiddo. I went through some culture shock when I got here myself, so I understand where you're coming from."

As they continued, Sabin explained the finer points of burgers to the youngster, and as they neared the Mazinger he turned and looked at Tir.

"Now, why would you want to find the Teacher dorms? Do have an older brother or sister who teaches here?"

"No. I live in the teachers dorms." McDohl would inform the other his cheeks flushing. Did he REALLY look that young? He looked down at his gloved hand and mentally yelled at it for a moment before turning a smile up to Sabin.

Sabin looked at the young man with a mixture of disbelief and surprise. Someone so young being a professor here? He could hardly believe it.

"You're a professor here? I'm impressed. I thought that it was just us older folks who were allowed to teach; you must really know your stuff, Tir. What is it you're teaching, exactly?"

"I'm actually twenty one sir." McDohl looked a bit down as he looked up to him, "I'm teaching Martial Arts and Politics." After a moment he hastily added, "OH I wasn't trying to trick you either. I was going to pay for my food and all!"

Sabin stared at Tir for a moment, flabbergasted. This kid was actually older than him? Quickly straightening his posture, Sabin nodded to his fellow professor.

"I'm terribly sorry, McDohl-san. I thought that you were much younger, please forgive me."

"Don't let it bother you I have a curse on me." Was all he would say as he turned and then murmered, "I can't age so I stopped aging when I turned fifteen." McDohl just continued to walk with him.

Sabin watched as Tir continued on toward the pub and caught up to him in a few quick strides.

"A curse, McDohl-san? What happened, if you don't mind my asking? I'm certain that there are people here who might be able to help."
