I think I like today...it's something I can't get my head around.
Who: Shizuka Doumeki, Watanuki Kimihiro
When: ‘Tis complicated…after the first swimming lesson, after Himawari’s talk with Doumeki ^__^ Before the Halloween Dance announcement.
Where: From the hallway in the Boys’ dorms to the library.
What: Watanuki needs to go to the library. Doumeki wants to see Watanuki. Hence, a library meeting.
Rating: PG-13…who knows where we’re going…
"It doesn't matter"? FINE. Yuuko-san's got to keep it open late. You and me. Hallway. In 5 minutes.
...sometimes, Doumeki got the impression that maybe he just didn't understand Watanuki like everyone else did. Most of the time, this was a good thing; he was glad to have the chance to see sides of the boy that no one else saw...it was almost like having something part of Watanuki all to his own.
Then again, there were times like these. Somehow, he got the impression he'd somehow irritated Watanuki, though he couldn't find anything wrong with what he said. Doumeki was Doumeki. He'd "talked" the way he always did, and if years of reluctant companionship hadn't allowed Watanuki to understand who he was, so be it.
What he did understand though, was "In 5 minutes." Since all of his free time was concentrated to the two or three hours he spent outside of practice, most of the times people chose to visit were near or during shower time. As it was, Doumeki'd come back to the dorm, commented on Watanuki's journal for a while, showered, and by the time he came back, "in 5 minutes" had popped up. Not much time to get dry or get out.
So Doumeki'd practically ran to the bathroom, grabbed a towel, sort of tousled his hair a bit and thrown on an old T-shirt and worn jeans. Out of sheer habit, he almost grabbed his bow as well, before shaking his head, taking his keys, and heading out the door into the hallway.
