Chuckling Luc sat down in a chair and just watched. He was fully dressed and was at least wanting SOME time to meet people and also to just be out of his room. He smiled and watched the others diving into the pool with some longing. "Ahhh..I wish I could just dive in!"

Goku blinked. He had fallen in alone, and come up surrounded-- HOLY FLYING FUCK WHAT WAS ON THAT BANANA-HAMMOCK?! Goku sweat-dropped and sunk into the water, totally freaked out since he didn't know anyone there. "Waaaaah.... Who are you guys...?"

Seeing Luke sitting at poolside - and fully dressed, no less - Edgar swam to the edge of the pool and leaned half-out. "Hey, Luke" he called, "Why don't you come on in? The water's fine!"

"I wish I could. But I can't get the cast wet you know?" He just smiled, "So I decided to just come by and watch everyone to get out of the room."

Still grinning, Edgar splashed a bit of water at Luke's feet, making sure to avoid his cast. "Oh sure," he called, his voice loaded with mock scorn, "Blame it on the war wound, why don't you? Well, I can't blame you for wanting to get out of the dorm. Besides," he added motioning his head toward Rikku's turned back, "It's much nicer out here anyway, eh?"

Smiling at Edgar he just nodded, "Yeah I guess you could say that. There are certainly more people to meet. Also, I don't interact with others well...So I am trying to push myself to do so."

Rikku smiled at Edgar and then Luke. She offered him a dripping hand. "Hi. I don't think we've really met, but we did talk. It's nice to meet you."

Smiling he grabbed her hand with his uncasted one as he shook her hand and then let go, "Hi. It's nice to meet you." He would look to Edgar and back to Rikku, "Your coming this weekend to the pub right?"

She nodded happily. "Wouldn't miss it for the world." She finally noticed his casted hand and she brushed a few wet blonde locks from her face as her eyes widened. "Oi, what'd you do?"

As Rikku introduced herself to Luke, Edgar leaned one arm out of the pool and looked at her, a grin on his face. "Oh, so that's how it's going to be, is it, M'Lady? A cute redhead comes along and you forget all about poor me? Alas!" he cried, placing his hand over his heart, "Whatever shall I do?"

Blushing slightly, she shoved his shoulder playfully. "I didn't forget about you," she replied. "I didn't want the cute redhead to think that I'm rude."

Looking down at hi cast, "Xandra broke my wrist." That was all he said as he then blinked his cheeks flushing as she called him cute, "I'm cute?" He looked a tad bit embarrassed.

She frowned a bit. "That wasn't very nice." She looked down a bit before dunking herself under the water, hoping to cool off her own blush. Coming back to the surface, she shrugged a bit. "Well... yea." Her green eyes were looking everywhere but his face. 'Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact...' She looked up at him, noticing that his eyes were almost the same shade as hers. 'Dammit.'

Rubbing at his cheeks he looked into her eyes, "Your eyes..They are like mine." He just smiled and then leaned down to watch the others.

"This looks like so much fun..I really wish I could jump in with everyone. But, since I can't just have enough fun for the both of us okay?" He would scratch his cheek slightly and look away.

Edgar laughed and pointed at Luke, grinning. "Alright, Mr. Smooth-talker, I think that's enough of that. I thought you said that you were uncomfortable around new people, not that you were a flirt."

Turning to Rikku, he flashed her a wink and nodded his head slightly. "Would M'Lady care to take a few laps? I couldn't help but notice when I came in that you're a pretty good swimmer for someone who grew up in a desert."

She was about to say something back to Luke when her ears perked at Edgar's challenge. A race. She liked races. "This lady would love to," she said, her face lighting up. "Four laps, there and back twice. Is that alright?" Rikku wasn't the best swimmer; she had nothing on her cousin. But she was positive that she could hold her own in the lanes.
