Lina poked her head in the classroom and waltzed in.
"Well they never said teachers couldn't take classes as well...or at least audit them..."

She plopped into a seat tossing her hair.

Retsu smiled to the young woman, little wrinkles forming at her eyes as they sparked with mirth for her comment.

"Indeed. The pursuit of knowledge is never beyond an intelligent educator. I am Retsu Unohana, may I know your name?"

Lina smiles up at him turning on the shoujo charm and putting her hands under her chin..
"I am the beautiful sorceress Lina Inverse~ I teach Combatative Magic here..."

She laughed a little and nodded to her. "It is a pleasure to meet you Inverse-sensei. If you are interested in lessons on healing arts in order to help your students I'd be more than happy to teach you. You are a sorceress? In what manner do you use your ability? Do you use a power or an artifact?"

Lina nodded emphatically though she really just wanted to know in case one of her students accidently hit her. There was no Amelia here to take care of the healing and although she could heal small wounds it was slow.
" I use power...depending on the type I use I draw it from different sources though how much you can use is based on your own capacity...I have these..." She tapped the Demon lord talismans she wore. "To increase the amount of power I'm able to use...though I usually don't need them unless I'm saving the world from another Mazoku" She made an annoyed face.

"I see. That sounds quite prepared. It is always best to keep both personal power and artificats on hand. I myself use both in my healing capabilities." She turned her head to the side slightly. "What is a Mazoku?"

Lina frowned "Mazoku are annoying swirls of dark energy created by the demon lord Shabrinigdo...they create a human shell to interact with humans and feed off of negative feelings .some are incredibly powerfull but not too much for me" she scoffs " We draw on their power to use black magic spells..and the stronger the mazoku the stronger the spell."

"I see. There are many evils in this world, it seems. It is unfortunate. My people battle hollows, which are similar enough to the Mazoku. I, however, am primarily a healer. I'm certain that if you would like to learn how to heal simple wounds that I could teach you to use the same sort of techniques that I do, using your abilities instead of demon arts."

Lina nodded. "The thing is I have a spell for low level healing but it takes a long time and can only heal minor things...I need something in case I..." she coughs."One of my students gets hurt badly..some of the magic we will be using is VERY destructive..."

"More intensive healing capabilities can take several years to learn. I myself took more than 100 years of apprenticeship after my training in the Shinigami Academy. Perhaps, if your course is truly that dangerous I could arrange to be there to help in an emergency until you learn something suitable? It is possible you could learn something if we focus on a particular knowledge, such as flesh recomposition, but it would still take you at least a year or more."

Lina wrinkled her nose. More time taken when she could be doing something,like browsing the libraries,or her own well being...."That would be fine but I would still like to learn what you can teach me,the classes will most likely get advanced later anyway....I can already heal minor arrow wounds and sword wounds with Recovery..."

She nodded. "Well, Inverse-sensei, when would be a good day for you? I can fit you in on whatever day you'd like and we can start on your training immediately. Also, try to tell me a day or so in advance as to when your classes are and I will come to make sure that your students survive and to help you if you decide to practice what we've discussed in your lessons."

Lina smiled "Thank you! I'll be sure to do that, I'm normally free at night, and my class times haven't been set yet but I'll be sure to let you know when they have!" Her stomach growled loudly and she sweatdropped. "Anou...will you be teaching anything important today other then basics?"

"I won't be teaching anything today, Inverse-sensei. I merely wanted students to come so I could gather their abilities and arrange a schedule." She poined to the end of the room with a pencil. "Feel free to take some of the refreshments at the table."

Lina brightened. "Thank you,Thank you, Thank you!" and ran over the table falling on the food lik a ravenous tiger.
