The terrible feeling that rushed over Frau stopped him dead in his tracks. Verloren. No. The feeling wasn't the same. No where near the same. "My God what could possibly make me thing it was Verloren?" Not a good sign at all. Frau whipped out of the boys' dorms to try and catch a glimpse of whatever was radiating that amount of power.

What he saw was beyond even his imagination. "Holy shit..." Frau tore his gaze from the Balrog when he realized that something felt odd. He glanced at his hands to find them shaking. One of the seven ghosts shaking in fear? This wasn't going to be good.

The initial surge of energy that radiated over the island was what alerted him first. The rumble and the way the building shook and rattled was a close second, and Sasuke all but threw his books from his lap as he stood and approached the window.

What he saw there sent shivers down his spine. In seconds he had the glass pane pushed up, bracing one hand on the windowsill in order to swing himself over so that he could drop to the ground below. The sharingan was swirling in his eyes before his feet even touched the pavement... and sure enough the creature was almost blinding in the amount of energy it gave off, dark, powerful, and malicious. It took him a moment to even notice the man standing nearby as a result.

"What the hell is that thing?"

"Something really, really bad is my guess," Teito answered, trotting up with an anxious look on his face. He gave the... monster another long look as he took his place beside Frau, swallowing thickly. It was terrifying. Teito reached out blindly to tangle his fingers in Frau's robes for comfort before really realizing it.

"I thought it was Verloren at first," he admitted to the bishop quietly. "And I swear I still sense Wars."

"I'd say the same as Teito. There are only a few things I know of that give off energy like that." He noticed Teito's action a moment later and rested his hand on the boy's back once he was sure his own hands were shaking anymore.

"I thought it was too," he told Teito softly. The news that Teito was still sensing wars wasn't welcome, but that had to be dealt with later. They had bigger problems for now.

"This thing is way out of our league..." That was saying something considering who, or what, Frau was.

"Aa... I thought as much." Sasuke narrowed his eyes, having no idea what Frau and Teito were talking about; his immediate assumption was that this creature was some sort of summon, in which case it would be a simple matter of locating the person who brought it here and defeating them.

Somehow he didn't think that would work this time.

"We need as many people as possible." He looked off towards the library, already seeing damage to the exterior... but that was also near the Balrog. Still, Bakura would be there. "I have something I need to take care of first. Where can we meet again?"

Teito started briefly at the touch on his back, only just now registering what he'd done. He glanced at the Balrog, swallowed, and tightened his grip, leaning a little into Frau's comforting hand. He chewed at the inside of his lip. Frau was right - it was out of their league- but so was Sasuke. They couldn't just leave it to roam the campus.

"...It's heading towards the park, it looks like," Teito answered Sasuke. "That's as good a place as any."

He stepped away from Frau, a cold, deadly serious expression settling over his face as he steeled himself for a fight.

"I'm going."

Frau nodded agreement to Teito's choice of location. "Round up anyone else you can who would be able to fight along the way. We're going to need help." Frau hated admitting that he couldn't do things for himself, but he wasn't stupid enough to think that the three of them could take that thing down.

When Teito seemed ready to walk off Frau tightened his grip on the boy's shirt. "You're not going anywhere alone. I won't let you get killed. If we go after that thing, which we will, we go together. Understood?" Frau wouldn't accept anything else, and the look on his face clearly displayed that.

Sasuke glanced to the other two a last time before seeming to vanish from sight, darting forward and using the trees and buildings as footholds as he raced towards that library. There wasn't much time, and assuming that Bakura was injured he would likely have to transport him himself.

"Fine. Then let's go," Teito answered sharply. "Even if we can't beat that thing, we need to slow it down before it hurts too many people!"

Slow it down, right. Teito made it sound so easy. Frau wouldn't have argued had they been home, but here was a different story. Here he had to contend with magic penalties. He was extremely limited. Fighting over the long term just wasn't possible.

Frau hurried after Teito, his face set in determination. No matter how bad the penalties were, he would have to push himself to succeed. Even if it killed him he'd fight to the end.

Teito's mind was going at a mile a minute as he raced towards the park. What he needed here - what they needed here - was a strategy. This thing was far too strong to fight just the two of them. They needed to be smarter about how they did this.

Slowing it down was possible. Teito refused to believe otherwise.

"Brilliant ideas?" Frau asked. He had just one at the moment, and it could only do so much good since he'd only build one hawkzile. If Teito didn't have anything then they were going to have to use Frau's plan, trouble spots and all.

"Honestly?" Teito replied. "Only thing that comes immediately to mind is to aim for the eyes and give it everything we've got. If we had more time..."

Teito made a frustrated sound. He was usually better at this.

"How about you?"

"I wasn't thinking of attacking really. We'd be swatted down like flies. I thought we could use the hawkzile. Keep attacking with small stuff from different directions. Pretty much just do enough to annoy it and keep it from focusing on one area too long," Frau explained.

"Why don't we combine the two?" Teito asked. "You hassle him from the sky, I'll go after him on the ground. That way, between the two of us, we should be able to distract it enough for reinforcements to arrive."

Teito hesitated, then added, "...If it gets too bad, I can try to call Mikhail, I think. To help."

Frau nodded. "Try to avoid that if possible. You don't know how bad this place is going to hit you while you're using his power. I'd prefer you stayed with simpler things." Frau glanced away from the balrog and focused on the mech building. "Don't get in his way until I get back. Promise me that, Teito."
