Tsuna was pretty sure that he should stay in practice with the whole Hyper Dying Will Mode thing so that Reborn didn't kill him when he got home again. Which would be why he was standing in the middle of the biggest, emptiest, most damage room he could find wearing his rings and his mittens and looking dubiously at his pills. But the thing was... he really didn't want to.

But he should. He didn't want to get shot. Tsuna looked up at the high ceiling in despair. What he needed, what he really needed, was a distraction. A reasonable excuse for putting off his training. Surely even his luck could manage that...

As Tsuna's luck would have it, a wild Taichi appeared. Leaning into the room, Taichi blinked once at the size of it, then realized there was actually someone else out of the dorms despite the weather, occupying the room. "Hey." He greeted, lifting a hand briefly in a wave as he entered the room. "What's up?"

Tsuna nearly face faulted at the convenient timing, catching himself just in time to spin and share at the new arrival in shock. No way. He'd actually gotten what he'd hoped for?!

He raised a mitten-ed hand in a tentative greeting, half convinced that the other brunet was just a figment of his imagination. He never got what he asked for, so it was a little hard to believe this was real. "H-hi. I was going to um." Tsuna gestured at the large room a little helplessly, looking more than a little sheepish at his following admission. "Practice. But I really don't want to."

Well, this kid seemed a little surprised, Taichi noted. And maybe nervous? Huh. Taichi followed the gesture, glancing around the room again, before shrugging and looking back at Tsuna. "I was here looking for somewhere to play soccer, but this place is pretty big. What sort of practice?" Taichi was not opposed to trying out other sports, after all.

"Er..." How was he supposed to explain the Dying Will Flame and Hyper Mode without getting into Reborn and into all the insane mafia stuff, anyway?

Tsuna scratched the back of his neck and chuckled nervously. "Nothing all that interesting. I'm Sawada Tsunayoshi. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu."

He gave a polite bow, tucking his pills away again as he tugged his mittens off.

Taichi didn't seem bothered by the avoiding of the question, and just smiled amicably. "Yagami Taichi. Yoroshiku onegaishmasu." He repeated the greeting mostly because the other boy had used it, not due to any inherent politeness. Refined behavior was not his strong point. "You know if there's an indoor field or anything here? Or an outdoor one, though it's still raining."

Tsuna shook his head.

"Sorry, Yagami-san, but I haven't run into any yet," he answered apologetically. "There are a lot of big rooms, though; maybe you could use one of those for now...?"

"Yeah, probably." Taichi agreed, now wondering if there would be a soccer ball around or if he'd have to buy one. He'd already spent a lot of his credits on snacks, and he didn't want to have to buy anything else he didn't have to. Glancing over at Tsuna, he had an idea. "Hey, if you're avoiding practicing, you want to come help me check out the building?" He looked like he needed something to be doing anyway.

Tsuna perked up at the suggestion, his face lighting up with a smile.

"Sure!" he agreed cheerfully, pulling a chain from his pocket as he trotted over. He pulled off the Vongola Ring and Nuts' ring and threaded both onto it before fastening it around his neck and tucking the rings under his shirt out of habit. "Where do you think we should start? The lobby might have a map or something."

Taichi noticed the threading, but he had no idea what it was for and didn't have much inclination to ask. Probably a weird custom from the world the other kid came from anyway. "Ah, maybe." He agreed, not mentioning that he hadn't thought to check. "Sounds like a good a place as any to start."

"Great!" Tsuna chirped, setting off in that direction. He tilted his head curiously. "So, what's your world like, Yagami-san?"

Taichi began that was as well, waving a hand a bit. "'Taichi's fine." He commented; none of his friends called him 'Yagami', so he wasn't used to hearing it from anyone but his teachers. As for the question, though, he gave a bit of a shrug. "I'm from Japan, though I think my case is kinda different from most of the people here. I'm used to going to a different world: the Digital World."

"You're used to going to a different world?" Tsuna repeated, surprised. "Wow. How'd that happen? What's it like?"

Tsuna had been to the future before, but that wasn't the same as going to a completely different world. Besides, they'd saved the future they'd been to - and it wasn't going to happen again. Tsuna would make sure of it.

"Yeah, I go back and forth from my world to the Digital World pretty often." Taichi said with a nod. He grinned a bit before answering the question. "We sort of got sucked into it one day at summer camp. It's a really strange place." Kind of an understatement, but whatever.

"I'll bet," Tsuna agreed weakly. Yikes. He couldn't even imagine doing something like that. "So if it's a digital world, is it in a computer or something?"

"Sort of." He responded, shrugging a bit. "I know it's created by computers, but it's not in any one." He was never all that clear on exactly where the Digital World was, as it really didn't matter to him as long as he could get there, do whatever he needed to do, and get back.
