Who: Nanami and Hakuren
When: Friday, a little while after her mysterious arrival in her dorm room.
Where: Outside the girl's dorms and around campus.
What: Nanami attempts to fit in with the aliens she thinks abducted her and runs into Hakuren who is not actually an alien.

Hakuren was walking along, reading through one of his texts as he glanced over and saw a young lady who looked as if she were having a bit of trouble. "Miss, are you all right?"

"Eh," the girl had been so focused on trying to walk in a slouched manner, the other blond took her by surprise. "I.. uh.." The alien had spoken to her and it knew her language, not only that, it was like he was mimicking her hair and eye color. He was good, she'd give him that. She cleared her throat a little standing up a bit straighter since he was. "It's just that sometimes, I still get turned around here..." Her lip twitched nervously as she attempted a small smile.

"You must be a new arrival," Hakuren observed. "Hello, my name is Oak Hakuren," he bowed slightly.

Cue nervous laughter. "Oh no! I've been here for months no years! ... years."

[mybrotherinarms]

Liar. "Ohhh? Then I presume you were at the Halloween Gathering and participated in the games there?"

[utskushiinanami]

"I was sick," she replied quickly. Crap, did aliens get sick?

[mybrotherinarms]

"I'm surprised you were able to stay in bed with all the ghosts that haunted the dorms," Hakuren said, still fibbing. "I heard they were quite something"

Nanami stared at him in a horrified manner, "G...ghosts?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" Aliens and ghosts? She was realizing how under prepared she was. Should she have packed garlic? Or was it silver bullets? She should have paid more attention to sci-fi books instead of just buying detective novels. "Dearest big brother," she thought to herself, "I'm afraid I will never see you again, remember, even if we aren't related, I will always love you." A single tear ran down her cheek.

"I'd be a little more creative in my lies if I were you," Hakuren said switching his book to his other arm. "Now...I'll ask again...you're new here aren't you?"

Oh no. She had be caught all ready. This was bad. This was very bad. "I'm sorry! Please don't turn me into a lab rat or eat me! I don't wanna die! I probably don't taste very good and I'd make an awful test subject!"

Hakuren's mouth twitched a bit before he burst out laughing. "I'm not sure who does that, but I certainly don't. So please don't cry ok?" he smiled. "My name is Oak Hakuren, and you are?"

Nanami sniffled and removed her sunglasses to blot at her tears. "Kiryuu Nanami," she replied in a defeated tone, "If you don't do that, then what do you do?"

"Hello Nanami-san," Hakuren smiled. "I'm a bishop in training"

[utskushiinanami]

"Bishop?" The pitch in her voice flattened a bit as she stared straight into his eyes. "You mean like one of those religious figures?"

"I'm from the Church of Barsburg" Hakuren met her gaze. "My mentors are already here"

"Jeez, why didn't you say so in the first place?" She sighed heavily rather relieved and if you hadn't been there a minute ago you would never have known she had been crying. "I thought you were one of them."
