Goku pushed the door to his new room open, looking around curiously. It was going to be seriously weird bunking with someone who wasn't Sanzo, Hakkai, or Gojyo.

"Um," Goku began, spotting the boy at the window. He looked very... clean. "Hi. Is this your room, too?"

Hakuren looked over hearing the door open as he saw what looked like a real kid entering the room. "You lost kid?"

Goku blinked, then started searching for the room number.

"This is 105, right?" he asked. He wasn't that great with letters yet, but he hadn't thought he had any trouble with numbers. "'Cause I'm supposed to be in room 105."

Hakuren gave a short nod and rolled his eyes turning back towards the window. "So who are you?"

"I'm Goku," the monkey replied, finding a 105 of his own to further confirm things. He stepped inside, booting the door closed again with his heel as he took stock of the place. "Oh - Son Goku." He gave his roomie a sheepish grin as he walked over to the beds. He picked the one least likely to be currently occupied and flopped onto it.

"Who're you?"

Hakuren watched the boy from the corner of his eye. Definitely nothing like Teito; in fact, if anything, this one looked like he would be more problematic. He turned to face him. "Hakuren," he answered simply. The other seemed to not have much in the way of manners...or tact for that matter as he watched him kick the door closed - how barbaric - and then just flop down on a bed before even asking for an invitation or see if he was occupying that one...which, of course, he wasn't, but still, it was nice for someone to act their age - or intelligence level - which, perhaps, this was about as much as the other had.

"Nice ta meet'cha!" Goku replied cheerily, and pulled his feet up onto the bed with him so that he was sitting cross-legged as he looked at his room mate curiously. "How long have you been here? I'm new, but Hakkai's been here a whole year, and I still really hope he gets it back before we go home."

Hakuren wondered what the other meant by 'getting it back', but let that go for the time being as that didn't signify anything of any importance to him. "I just arrived a couple of days ago, and I also have acquaintances here" he said, sniffing the air as if he'd been offended by something stinky.

"Dude, did you just sniff at me?" To say that Goku was incredulous was a bit of an understatement. "Seriously?"

Hakuren gave him another glare then smirked. "Your overactive imagination is running away with you kiddo. I have a bit of a cold is all" he fibbed. The other wouldn't know the difference as he didn't seem to have too many brain cells to rely on.

"Oh, that is lame," Goku declared. "If you're gonna lie, at least make it believable. You sniffed at me! I didn't think people actually did that in real life! It's such a... a... prissy move!"

"You can believe whatever you want kid, but I did not sniff at you when I can smell you from right where I stand," Hakuren grinned.

Goku scowled at Hakuren, but it came out as more of a pout. "I took a bath before I got brought here! I smell fine. And don't call me 'kid,' you can't be that much older 'n me!"

Hakuren smirked before turning back to face the window. "Whatever. So do you actually have anything of significance to say besides whining about your smell and age? Like perhaps how you'll be able to contribute besides being a step stool?"

"Oh, try me!" Goku countered, launching himself to his feet. "I could whoop your pansy hoity-toity ass with one hand tied behind my back! Wouldn't even be an effort, much less a challenge!"

Hakuren scoffed, "I'd almost take you seriously, if you were worth the time...," Hakuren said as he brushed past him and laid down on his own bed. "Now if you don't mind, make yourself truly useful and try disappearing. I have a headache"
