For a moment Frau thought that he'd woken up at home, back at the church, where he'd fallen asleep after a rather difficult battle as Zehel. It took the bishop a little while to realize this wasn't his coffin though he had to admit it was nice. Obviously the Undertaker had gotten a job. Perhaps Frau would have to ask for a real coffin for himself considering how rested he felt.
Very slowly the bishop pushed back the lid, one arm, the clothing barely dangling on it, inched over the edge of the coffin and hung there a moment swinging back and forth. Creepy? Oh yes.
...Had the lid just moved? Mana barely had a chance to take a step back before an arm flopped out of it. OHGODSTHEREWASSOMETHINGINITTHATWASMOVING.
Mana gave a very girly, spazzy scream, flailing in a panic for a moment before she remembered her staff, pointing it at the coffin and closing her eyes tightly, not looking. "D-Don't c-come out!" She demanded, though her voice was so high pitched it wasn't about to intimidate a kitten, let alone a suspected zombie.
Don't come out? Or what? Frau twisted his arm around and pushed the coffin lid further off. Once there was a large enough section to fit his upper body through, he sat up and flopped over the side of the coffin. A small groan escaped his lips. "Bright... light..." That was why he usually kept the lights off in his room when he disappeared into the coffin for a long rest.
She was almost hopping from foot to foot in panic, but actually when he moved the lid and sort of sat up, she was calmed just slightly. He didn't look like a zombie, but... Wouldn't that be what a zombie wanted you to think?
Still pointing her staff at him, she was only slightly less freaked out when she spoke again. "Wh-who are you?"
Frau lifted his head to look up at her, which probably only caused more problems since the movement was rather robotic. He was incredibly stiff from sleeping for two days. That, and he still had a bruise or two on the exposed skin which was a lot considering the state of his clothes. The bishop simply stared at her without saying a word. Then he reached both hands up to his head and twisted, first one way, then the other. His neck gave a loud crack on each side.
He was getting scarier again. Mana was back to hopping, complete with some flailing. She decided to try another tactic though. "Wh-what are you?" She asked, hoping he wasn't some sort of ridiculously powerful creature she didn't know what to do with.
Again Frau looked up at her with blank eyes. "I'm tired... and stiff." He stated. "Why are in my room? Oh... right... destroyed that. So where am I?" He gazed around a moment before coming to the conclusion that he was in the lobby of the building. Someone had obviously taken the time to bring him here. He stretched his arms up over his head, his shoulders cracking at the motion.
At the very human answer, Mana relaxed much more, lowering her staff. Why he was sleeping in a coffin was beyond her, but he seemed to be a normal person, at least on the outside. And he didn't seem to be interested in hurting her or anything, so everything was good for right now.
"Y-you're in the lobby." Mana explained, still a bit squeaky from earlier. "Your room was one of the ones destroyed?"
"My room was the epicenter of the destruction... Heh, why is it that my location always seems to draw that job?" It had nothing at all to do with him, that was for sure. It was simply bad luck... or the people around him... or Atem's problems. Yea, those. They seemed to always be linked too it wasn't that big of a stretch dang it! Dartz had been going after Atem at one point right?
...Epicenter of the destruction? That meant that... "You're Frau?" Mana asked, a little concerned; she didn't know exactly how to act around him if he was, after that huge fight.
"That famous huh?" he asked before trying to hoist himself out of the coffin. He got partially up before something fell out of his lap. He glanced back into the coffin. A pink flower. More than one. *twitch* *twitch* This was someone's idea of a joke, right? Right?!
"Well, ouji told me that..." She started, then noticed the flowers. Hey, they were really pretty! "Oh; those are really nice!" Mana exclaimed, taking a step forwards to see them better as she was convinced Frau wasn't too dangerous at the moment.
Again, more twitching. "Then get them out of here," Frau demanded. Flowers. That was Lab's thing, not his. Especially pink flowers! If you were going to do flowers might as well make them black. Wait.... A shiver ran through Frau. Those things had been touching his body for days!!
Mana nodded once enthusiastically, raising her staff. "Okay!" She said, and the flower began lifting, swirling around gracefully and moving their way out of the coffin and towards Mana. Only that's where things went wrong, and the invisible 'wind' drifting the flowers about because suddenly very strong, topping Mana and sending flowers everywhere. They'd be finding them in random places in that lobby for days. "Oops..."
Well, at least they were out of the coffin. Frau sighed. What was the point in trying to argue with her? Again, Frau tried to pull himself out of the coffin. It took a few tries to managed to pull himself upright and get his feet over the side. Somehow he managed though. Not that the bishop looked any better standing. It simply revealed more torn clothing.
Mana watched him climb out of the coffin with some concern, really wanting to help some way as she got back to her feet, brushing a flower from her hair. "Are you okay? Ouji's a little..." Aggressive? Prone to going overboard in a fight? Something like that; at any rate, she was a little worried about the number that had been apparently done on Frau. Sure, she believed there had been a good reason for the fight, but right now he wasn't an enemy of hers and she wanted to help him.
