What: Atem attempts to teach sword fighting. Sort of.
Rating: PG, mostly likely, though they are all carrying weapons.
Atem shifted the sword in his hand, testing a swing. The swords he'd found in the athletics facility would work well enough; they were different from the ones he was used to from Egypt, but not too much so, and were definitely usable. Provided he could competently teach a class, of course.
Mostly, he'd be inspired to actually teach something after the fight with Dartz. Realizing just how many people on the island had little no defense at all, he thought it would be worth it to try and teach sword fighting, despite the fact that it may or may not prove useful to anyone. It was better than nothing.
However, he didn't teach; at least not usually. He wasn't entirely certain how to go about it. Though he was well-versed in the subject, being the third best swordsman in Egypt in his time after Seth and Ankhunadin, that didn't mean he could impart that knowledge and skill in any useful way. He tried to remember his own classes from when he was younger, but that was doing little good; not only had he had so many classes in different subjects that he had trouble remembering them individually, he didn't like to dwell too much on thoughts of his eventually traitorous uncle who had instructed him.
Sighing quietly, he shook himself out of his thoughts for the moment. It was still a bit before the time he'd set for the class to begin, so he was alone; he planned on using that time to get a bit more accustomed to the slightly different weapons and try to formulate a plan.
