Kaito was no help at all. Even though the shrunken detective had asked the phantom thief for some help - with a price that Shinichi would never pay - they hadn't found out who had taken the voice changer. That is, until the fake voice recording of Atem and Linali doing...well, Conan didn't like to think or imagine it. He already knew it was his fault. Maybe he didn't do it directly, but it belonged to him. The voice changer that created this chaos.

This was not good. If anyone else found out that he was most definitely not a child - or at least, not an ordinary child, he was screwed for all eternity. He felt the right pocket of his blue jacket and there it was. Oh, how he missed Ran! Only the picture could soothe him now. But she wasn't here. She must've missed him. He remembered words that were told only to Conan. Not Shinichi. "Don't leave me all alone," she had told him sadly, tears almost jerking up her eyes. If only she knew...

But he wasn't in Tokyo. He was at Moksa - and he now, more than ever, wanted to leave. Ran must be worried about where he is - but he remembered. Time was different here. Even if a year passed by, no moment would pass back home. Would he ever age, turn back to normal, be cured? He would never know.

The last time his laptop was on, the date was April 15. There was around three more weeks until that day. However, he didn't want it to be true. Two years of being in this form - he was going to be eighteen. He began to walk his way toward the library.

Research would've been good, now.
