Atem had been looking for a book that, for once, was not about creating zombies (not that creating zombies had ever been Atem's intention, but still.) His attention had been distracted by a book on a high shelf, and he'd been pondering it, arms crossed, wondering how to get it down. He'd just turned to ask Yuugi if there was a chair nearby to stand on, when suddenly someone approached and put an arm around both he and Yuugi. There was only one person who would do such a thing, and the voice confirmed it.

"Frau, let go of me." Atem said, his usual opening line (or at least one that was said often) to Frau. It took a moment to register what the bishop was saying, and Atem's eye twitched slightly, arms crossing harder over his chest. "Frau, as usual you are wrong. You could simply not say anything and it would be more accurate than the things you do say." Frau often rode a thin line on Atem's patience, and he wasn't going to be any more accomodating with Yuugi around, especially if Frau started messing with him. Atem was still more than a litte overprotective kthx.

"Course we haven't met, clone boy, this must be a new doing of Komui's." He let go of the real Atem and prodded Yuugi's cheek. "He didn't do a bad job, I'll give the Brain that. Besides the height and something about your face you look the same as Puffs."

"So," he prodded Atem lightly in the stomach with his elbow. Of course he would ignore Atem's opinion of staying quiet. "What did ya do to get him so mad at you, hmmm? Was I right? Did you spend a cuddly night together in the same warm bed warming each other with skin contact?"

Atem was trying hard to keep his temper in check. Really. He wished Frau didn't feel the need push it. "Stop poking him; he's not a clone." Atem said in annoyance, moving away slightly when Frau elbowed him. "Who, Komui? Nothing." Atem said, attempting to ignore the rest of the sentence. He gave up on that a moment later. "No. Keep your fantasies to your books."

Frau stared down at Yuugi with a blank look on his face. "Eh?" Seems like they finally got through to him. Still, Frau couldn't quite put two and two together for a minute or so and just continued gaping at Yuugi in wide eyed amazement. Finally it all seemed to click, and Frau's expression turned drastically. "Well then... could I interest you in this book?" He held it out, displaying the cover.

Atem just watched with some amusement as Yuugi explained and Frau seemed to actually get it, though his expression changed immediately to a glare at Frau's comment. "No, you could not interest him in one of your books, now would you leave?" He asked in exhasperation, more annoyed than actually angry despite his tone.

"Come on now. Let Clone decide for himself, Puffs." Frau handed the book off to Yugi, a huge grin on his face. "Not sure about games, but I'm sure you could come up with some based on the contents." Frau shot Atem a quick look of "I win and I'm roping you into this too." "Maybe you could even convince Puffs here to take a look and help you out. Not that he has much experience either, but you never know."

Atem just sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose, deciding to give up for the moment. Frau was harmless enough, and maybe Yuugi would listen to him next time? Maybe? Why was it that no one listened to him, anyway?

Frau chuckled and quickly snatched up the book. "How cute, the poor kid blushed. You're almost as bad as your original," Frau teased again. "At least your nose doesn't bleed. Ruins good pictures with him around. No worries," he told Yuugi. "I'll coach you. We can even have Puffs here help out."

When Yuugi took the book, Atem waited the few heartbeats it took for the nearly-identical boy to spazz out. Atem wasn't entirely sure if he felt amusement or guilt (or both) over letting Yuugi figure out what was in the book himself, but hey, it had been pretty clear that Frau was up to something. At the bishop's comments, Atem glared at him. "No, there will be nothing of the sort. Don't you have someone else you could be corrupting right now?"

"Awww, come on now, Puffs. I'm not corrupting anyone, I'm a man of god." Frau grinned. He only played that card when it was beneficial for him. Typically Frau distanced himself from the church and his bothersome profession. "And look, your little clone is just as shy as you are about this whole thing."

Atem sighed. "Stop calling me that." He said in a tone of long-suffering, and gave Frau a distinctly unimpressed look at the 'man of god' comment. Priests. Frau would have fit in with his own array of them, Atem thought idly, at least until he annoyed them to the point that they threw him out.

"He is not a clone, and you act as though this is news to me." Atem said, crossing his arms and also ducking away from Frau, going over to stand next to Yuugi. He just raised an amused eyebrow at the look Yuugi directed at him.
