Dartz was in the library, minding his own business for once, though to be fair he was reading about evil things, so it wasn't like he was slacking. His attention was on a small, handwritten book in some form of ancient Greek, and he was reading it while walking, something that being as old as he was he should have known better than to do.
However, he apparently wasn't thinking about it, as he rounded a bookcase with his mismatched eyes focused on the text. Predictably, he ran right into someone and, on instict rather than actual concern, he reached out to grab the person's hand to keep them from falling.
