Clad in a pair of black shorts and a white tank top tied just under her chest, Linali was all concentration, her scars from her recent fight standing out plainly on her skin. She'd pulled on a pair of lightweight gloves to use on the bag, but her feet were wonderfully bare as she pummeled the inanimate object. It was already starting to feel kind of soft under her ministrations, but Linali kept pounding away with kicks and punches. Why she hadn't decided to come out here before was beyond her; she needed to do something nice for Riku-chan later on ( ... )

Atem just watched as she kicked the bag so hard it exploded, mentally sighing. Objects were in great danger around Linali at times, it seemed. Once the foam and other shards had settled, he stepped into the room, smiling slightly at her. "Looking for you. Can you imagine another reason why I would be here?" He asked, a bit amused. She certainly seemed pleased by literally beating the stuffing out of the bag. Atem himself, though he did enjoy sword fighting, was quite obviously not especially physically inclined, preferring strategy and magic in any confrontation. He did however understand the sense of satisfaction of defeating something, even if that something was an inanimate object.

Linali smiled back, moving a bit closer. "No, not really. This isn't a place I'd ever really expect to find you in." She looked back at the destruction she'd caused and sweatdropped a bit; she wouldn't get in trouble for destroying school property, would she? This was like the 5th or 6th thing she'd destroyed though. "Looks like I've finished off Sebastian. At least there's still Dartz and the Millennium Earl," she told him with a mischievous grin, pointing to the other two heavy bags in the room.

Picking up a towel, Linali tilted her head at Atem, a thought crossing her mind. "Hey. Now that you've found me, do you wanna train with me for a while?" She recalled him saying that hand to hand combat was something he was useless at... "It might be helpful later on, you never know."

Atem raised an eyebrow slightly when she called the heavy bag by name, still quite amused. He wondered briefly if the real Sebastian would explode into fluff if kicked hard enough, and then figured he probably shouldn't tell Linali that. "Ah, well, if you are fighting evil I suppose that is a good use of your time." He commented, giving her an almost-smirk.

At her question though, he blinked in surprise. He didn't know the first thing about this sort of thing. He'd had very basic training as a kid, until he'd been deemed pretty hopeless and told to stick to swords and summoning. He just continued to give her a baffled look as his only response.

Gray had been told that there were some good practice rooms in this so called "recreation center," and he'd figured it might be worth it to check out. The place was huge and had been pretty quiet... besides one room, which, being Gray, he had to check out. He'd watched the fight between the boy and the girl for a moment, before deciding he was sick of watching.

He walked in, rather hyped up and looking as arrogant as usual. "Mind if I join in?" he questioned. "You look like you could use some practice, and I'm always up for practice." Not like Gray wouldn't join in if they requested that he didn't...

Atem had listened to Linali's explanation carefully, nodding slightly. He was quite good at telling facial cues that indicated a bluff in a game, or a lie in general, or various other types of deception. He could figure out how it worked in fighting too, surely...

But they were interrupted by the arrival of Gray, which surprised Atem a bit. He figured he must have been so focused on the fight with Linali he hadn't noticed someone else's presence. He also noticed he didn't know Gray at all; he must be a recent arrival?

Atem glanced towards Linali, letting her answer his question, as it had been her training time in the first place and therefore her choice in the matter.

Linali started a bit at Gray's arrival, her stance becoming tighter before she realized it was just another student. "Um, I don't mind if Atem doesn't," she said, "but what's your name? I'm Linali. You're new here, right?"

"I'm Gray," he told her with a smirk as he snapped his hands together. "And yea, I'm new here, so how about some fun?" Gray wasn't really one for pleasantries before a fight. He charged in, not giving either one much chance to react.

Although it was obvious that Linali was the better fighter, Gray still wasn't all that keen on hitting girls. Therefore, Atem it was. A wild grin still on his face, Gray sent a punch right towards Atem's face. Nope, going easy on someone wasn't in Gray's vocabulary.
