What: Linali has some serious explaining to do to her brother; he takes care of her while the others search for Miranda
Rating: PG at best...
Having managed to pull herself up onto her bed, Linali let her legs hang uselessly off the edge, tears still streaming down her face. She had no idea how a conversation had turned into Miranda slapping her and running off, but she hadn't meant for any of it to happen. She'd said what she said out of concern and was baffled that Miranda had taken it so badly. Did she really care about Dartz that much? Linali's hands clenched in her skirt; she hated the man for deceiving Miranda the way he had. He had to have seen how vulnerable and trusting the older Exorcist was, and he was just the type of person to take advantage of it.
When her brother had responded to the post, she knew she was in trouble for not telling him what was going on with the boots and General Cross. However, she'd never wanted to see him so bad as she wanted to see him right now. Tears still flowing freely, she looked up at the door, willing him to be on the other side, on his way in.
