When the past comes back to haunt you...

Everyone had told Tsuzuki that the library was really cool and that he needed to check it out, but he’d been avoiding it.  After all, Tsuzuki didn’t have a lot of luck with libraries.  He had blown up two already and was still paying back the debt for them.  He’d reasoned it out, however, that he would be okay this time.  There was no Muraki here and no crazy demons that could possess his body, so he had no reason to accidentally set fire to the building.

Nothing could go wrong this time.  It would all be good.  Tsuzuki smiled happily, humming to himself.  Maybe there would be something about the gusoushin in the library.  He’d always wanted to know what type of animal they were.  Unfortunately, nothing was ever that easy.

A form suddenly coalesced in front of the shinigami.  Tsuzuki gave a yelp, not having expected something to suddenly form in front of him.  His eyes widened in stunned shock when he saw who the being was.  “M-muraki…”  The being smiled and moved closer to Tsuzuki, reaching out to the shinigami. “Tsuzuki… it’s been such a long time.”  Tsuzuki froze, his body shaking.  “No… you… you died…”  The ghost laughed.  “Of course I did… but I’ve returned for you, my patient.  Eight years of looking after you was a pleasure, I’m back for more.”
