Isis followed Mai down to the beach, both women wearing long coats to ward off the cold. Mai had spotted the bonfire and heard a rumor about another party, and so she'd gone to grab Isis before they headed that way. Neither of them had spent much time together when they'd first met during the Battle City Semi-Finals, but when Isis had arrived on the island they had caught up and quickly became friends.

It seemed the party was in full swing, judging by the amount of people around. Isis brushed her thick black hair back over her shoulder, still following Mai, as they came upon the scene. Both stood there, looking confused for a minute about what was going on, before Mai located Linali and tapped her gently on the shoulder. "Hey hon, what's going on?" She asked quietly.

Still totally embarrassed by what she'd seen and struggling to explain cold to Chi, Linali looked at Mai helplessly. "I... I..." She shook her head. "I just got a little shock, that's all." She looked over Mai's shoulder. "Oh! You're Isis-san, right? Nice to meet you when I'm not a little brat."

Mai blinked at Linali, then at the group again. At least they seemed to be breaking up from whatever they were doing. She smiled and stepped to the side slightly when Linali spoke to Isis.

Isis inclined her head slightly at Linali, smiling gently. "Nice to meet you, Linali." She laughed. "You weren't a brat."

"Oh, I'm sure I was!" she said laughing. "I know I drove my brother and General Cross crazy at least." She gestured to the others. "As you can see, it's getting a bit crazy..."

She gave Mai a smile. "Actually, now that we have a chance, can I talk to you Mai?" She turned to Isis. "You're welcome to join but it's just... girly talk, I guess."

Mai smiled back again. "They probably deserved it!" She commented before Isis could reply, the other woman smiling in amusment as well. At Linali's request, Mai nodded. "Of course you can, hon."

Isis looked a little unsure, of what she should do. "I can leave." She told them lightly, not bothered and not wanting to intrude.

Mai looked between Isis and Linali, then addressed the younger girl. "Isis won't say anything, so don't worry if it's something private, hon."
