Atem had shown up in the Quad, not really wanting to be there, but deciding to behave for the moment. He rocked back and forth on his feet, looking around for anyone he knew. He wondered if Bakura was going to show up; considering Bakura could walk through walls, so it was going to be hard to drag him there.

Fuji wandered away, a bit sad that Hakkai didn't recognize him as he wasn't watching where he was going and bumped into someone. "I-I'm sorry...are you ok?" he asked.

Atem blinked in surprise as he was bumped into, jostled a little bit. He turned to see who it was, and saw someone he hadn't met just. "It's okay, I'm fine." He responded bravely. "Who are you?"

"My name is Syusuke...Fuji Syusuke," Fuji smiled holding out his hand.

Atem blinked again. Fuji... There was something about Fuji he was supposed to remember. But he couldn't think of it. "My name is Atem!" He said, shaking Fuji's hand.

"Hajimashite," Fuji smiled. "Atem...hmm...what nationality is that?" he wondered. "I like meeting people from all over, like I have so far here"

"It's Egyptian!" Atem said brightly. "And I guess you're from Japan? By the greeting and your name I mean." He rambled a bit.

"Egyptian? How neat. I don't believe I've ever met an Egyptian before. And yes...I am," he nodded, then looked quizzically at him. "Were you looking for someone before? I thought I found my roommate, but...for some reason, he doesn't remember me..." he sighed glancing over at where Hakkai was still talking with that adult man.

Atem smiled brightly. "I have a lot of friends from Japan! But I don't think I'll get to see them again..." He trailed off, sad for a minute. But he shook his head and continued. "I was looking for Linali! She was supposed to be here."

"Why not? Do you still live in Egypt?" Fuji wondered, a bit sad for the other boy.

"Linali?" Fuji said. "I think I saw her playing with some white-haired kid a while ago over that way," he pointed.

"No..." Atem shook his head, but didn't elaborate. "Oh, you saw Linali? A white-haired boy?" He blinked. Bakura? "Oh, we gotta' go find her!"

"Yeah...not too far from here really. I'll show you," Fuji said as he headed in the direction he saw Linali with the other kid.
