This will be perhaps the most challenging journal entry I ever write. It requires that I explain who I am, what I like and even why I'm here. Considering I'm trying to answer many of those questions in my own life, we could be here for a while. Instead I'll just a brief note about the kind of person I believe myself to be.
First and foremost I know deep down inside I'm a philosopher at heart. I over-think, over-analyze and over-exaggerate everything that I do. That includes my relationships with people that I love and people that I no longer have as part of my life. While it may not be important to everyone I am a heterosexual male. I love everything about women. Their wonderful smell, their curves and the frustration that they bring to my life on a daily basis. Many of those frustrations will be illustrated and drawn out in journal entries to come...although I'd prefer that they not be. :)
Taking things too seriously though is not my MO. More than anything I enjoy going out with friends to bars and coming home and enjoying some of this earth's finest weed and just chatting until morning. Til this day we haven't figured out any of the universes magic solutions that are out there but we sure as hell have had some good fucking times.
Maybe rather than going into all of this I can explain some things about me through my favorite art form: music.
Thoughts on people who don't care for me or my lifestyle: "If you don't like my fire then don't come around cause I'm gonna burn one down." - Ben Harper, Burn One Down
About the woman I loved: "I have no lid upon my head but if I did, you could look inside and see what's on my mind. Oh it's you." - DMB, Let You Down
Love in the moment: "I'll push the wood, I'll blaze your fire, Then I'll satisfy your heart's desire, Said I'll stir it, yeah, ev'ry minute, yeah, All you got to do is keep it in, baby." - Bob Marley, Stir It Up
And finally, where I'm from: "I'm rockin the Suburbs, Just like Michael Jackson did, I'm rocking the suburbs, Except that he was talented." - Ben Folds, Rockin the Suburbs.
Love to hear your comments.
