[Yami no Matsuei] "Double Entrapment (I Am The Danger Remix) (PG-13)
Author's Note: Written for < lj user="fuda_100">'s "danger" Another weird Muraki & Saki fic, this time featuring an older Muraki and a head-in-a-vat Saki. I'm also playing with a Nightmare Fuel-ish theory of mine, regarding Saki's condition. C'mon, this involves Muraki: he made the Nightmare Fuel page on TVTropes...
A greenish half-light. Cold. Darkness. Fluid surrounds him. Life support tubes grafted into his flesh. A scent like blood in his nostrils. Heartbeat? No. A pump throbbing. Momentary fear, which fades: no racing pulse, no quickening breath. No reason to remain fearful
Footsteps. A shadow. Light glinting off a gloating silver eye. A slow smirk. Eyes meet. Or one meets: one remains fixed, impassive, like glass. A snarled promise. A memory recalled: she underneath him, screaming. A mewling plea from the pale whelp.
A fist hits the glass.
Who proves more dangerous? Even now, I still pull the strings, Kazutaka...
