[Yami no Matsuei] "Shinigami's Prayer" (PG)

"What are you doing here?" Hisoka asked, finding his partner in the back of a church.
"I like it here, it's peaceful."
"But you're not even Christian."
"That's true. But it's a quiet place and I can think and pray here. Someone's listening."
"We're gods, we don't need to pray."
"Well, we were humans once. There's still that part that needs to reach up into the light, hoping Someone will turn it on. I just hope that Someone will hear me."
Hisoka could say nothing to this, but he had to admire his partner's faith, despite what life threw him.
"What are you doing here?" Hisoka asked, finding his partner in the back of a church.
