Last day!
I'm getting laid off* tomorrow. :-) That's actually a good thing, despite the negative connotations of getting laid off - it means I can collect a little bit of unemployment for a month or so, and, more importantly, that I don't have to spend my days scooping tarred rock from buckets into pans and baskets. I'll have a month and a bit to do whatever I want, without much in the way of responsibilities. So far, my only commitments are:
-volunteering at the trolley museum, Tuesdays and Saturdays
-going to the Tech @ U of M(inn) games, Nov. 30/Dec. 1
-going to the Tech - NMU home and home series, Dec. 14/15
-family Christmas (and the attendant shopping)
-going to Detroit for GLI and such things (still somewhat up in the air)
So, if anyone wants to hang out during December or late November... give me a call!
though I wish it was minus the "off"
