{INTARWEB = very no

I'm typing this on Alex K's computer, as our cable modem went down and the new one isn't operable yet. Luckily, he can just get connected to the Super 8's wireless internet while sitting in our living room... if the internet won't come to us, then we'll just have to go to the internet.

Break was amazing, though I spent way too much time on trains for even my taste. The Final Five was pretty sweet too. Going back to school was a bit rough after such a fun vacation, but then again, going out again on Wind Symphony tour was even rougher once I started getting back into classwork. On the other hand, tour was pretty cool too even though we only had three concerts at high schools in the Green Bay area. I'm looking forward to our concert in the Rozsa (Sunday, April 22 at 7:30), especially if we sound as good or better as the last tour concert. Oh, and Applebee's of Appleton, WI sucks a big one. Their bar mixes really weak drinks and the waitress we had was not attentive at all, despite there being a big group of us (it was one girl's 21st birthday even!) and hardly anyone else in the entire place. She probably could have nearly doubled her drink sales if she'd bothered, and quadrupled her tip.

Upcoming events for me:
March 31st - my friend's bachelor party in the Twin Cities (paintball!)
April 14th - my friend's wedding in the Twin Cities
April 14th - (for everyone else) - All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Art Auction benefit for the Calumet Theatre and the MTU Fine Arts. $8 for adults, $4 for children under 10. The Calumet Theatre ballroom doors open at 4, and the dinner runs until 7. Buy your tickets in advance at the Calumet Theatre Box Office, Range Bank locations, or from any Mu Beta Psi Brother. Also, present your ticket at the box office for $1 off admittance to "Steppin' In It", a local folk music group performing at the Theatre that night.
April 22 - Wind Symphony and Campus Concert Band performance, 7:30 PM, the Rozsa Center
May 6 - ...yeah :-)

Somewhere in there I'd like to have a Senior Barrel too, but I don't know when that'll be.
