Well, I was going to go to Houghton this weekend, but instead, I decided to stay in town and start packing. It's going to take a while, and I don't really want to spend my nights after work packing

wow, the website looks great - I love all the pictures (and especially the ones that change when you reload) The text is pretty awesome too, esp the Rushing page.
One very minor suggestion: there are two positions for the content on the grey background. Home, About Us, News, Rushing, Officers, and Service all appear slightly to the right of Local Brothers, Alumni Corner, Scholarship, Fun, and Contact Us. as you navigate around, it's just a little distracting.
I didn't notice it with Alumni Corner or Scholarship, but the other I did. It's stupid tables and their stupid borders. It was easier to do tables for everything though, instead of having to figure out layout and positioning for a table type thing in CSS
Why is it so hard to take the high road when someone pisses you off? Why do we have to 'do the right thing' and not let it get to us? What can't we just tell them off in a condescending manner? Especially when one happens to be good at that sort of thing?
The website will is a lot easier to update now, for 2 reasons.
First, I went through and cleaned up the code. Updating information is so easy, even a caveman could do it.
Second, it's hosted on the National Server, so we'll actually know who to talk to, instead of getting the runaround from FA. All we need from them is to point to the new site. That's it, and we'll never have to deal with their Sysadmin people again (at least, not for a long time)
I really hate that Christmas has become so over-commercialized, and I hate that all the stuff starts so early (at the same time as Halloween stuff, wtf?) but I really thought I'd get a jump start on it this year. No Dice.
