Bi g doins in West Yellowstone this week. It's the 100th anniversary of the arrival of the first passenger train and therefore the 100th anniversary of the town. There are presentations, displays, stagecoach rides and chuckwagon cookouts every night! Nephew Jack has arrived and is working at the local paper and is covering some of the festivities. So far we only attended a concert of the Montana Mandolin Society. It was very enjoyable.
The weather has been very ugly. Wednesday it snowed all day. Yesterday it was just cloudy and rainy, but today it's sunny! A bit chilly, but it's definitely improving.
I'm off to hike in the woods with my dog.
