YHOO and MSFT v. GOOG
I know I've slacked in my blogging but I have a good excuse. I'll write about it within the next couple of days. Something really big happened and it took a lot of work to get there.
The reason for this weird hour blog is because I am blown away by the news that Microsoft has proposed a deal to purchase Yahoo for nearly $45billion. This is huge middle of the night news (ok, well not so middle of the night for the east coasters). With Yahoo closing at around $19 at the end of the day Thursday, this would be a great position to get into right now with Yahoo and MSN teaming up against Google. Google has been running away with the portal title without even looking in it's rear view mirror, but this potential purchase by MSFT will change the race a little bit.
Sorry, I'm getting a little too excited here. This online marketing is my business and stuff like this really gets my juices flowing.
