Today was a great day.
Challenge Day was amazing. I was skeptical going into it and while a few things may have been corny, the message that it presented was so unbelievably positive that I couldn't stop smiling after it was over. My deepest hope is that all the people that were there today can truly take the things that were said to heart and really work to bring about the change we all want to see. So next time I see you, if I give you a big hug or tell you how awesome I think you are, don't be alarmed. And if any of you haven't gone to Challenge Day yet, I strongly reccomend it. You will look on your classmates, and really your fellow human beings, in a different way afterwards.
After that it was time for the first intramural game of the year for the Light Blue team (a better name is in the works). Pretty much, we owned. While our team may not be as technically skilled as some, we work very well together, and it showed as we beat the much more talented team of Dan Kasal, Joe Russell, Andrew Kiefer, et al (12-8 score).
