Random thoughts while dinner cooks...
1. It took us all day and I'm exhausted, but Christmas has been erradicated from our house and life is back to normal. Well...as close as it gets around here.
2. Need to call my Amy. :D
3. I soooo don't wanna go back to work tomorrow.
4. Any cartoon called "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go", despite the monkeys (which I adore), is not something I want to watch...ever. Just the commercials are creepy and they're on every five minutes.
5. I will never let my daughter watch Cartoon Network after the latest commercial I saw for "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy" in which Billy rips his face off (rather graphically) with an egg beater. Even I was grossed out...and that's just the commercial! So I'll put up with "Power Rangers" and the previously mentioned odd show on Toon Disney.
6. Did I mention I don't wanna go to work? Maybe I could plead ignorance. It's logical to think we'd have more days off for New Years than Christmas, right? ;)
7. For those of you who are/were/will ever be in Great Falls, Montana...don't eat at Cattleman's Cut. The service was so bad I wanted to punch the waitress. I wouldn't have been there except it was our friend's wedding reception. The waitress sat us at two completely different tables (with a reservation and the knowledge that it was a reception) and when we asked to move them together she acted like it would take an act of God. Then bitched about it even though we did all of the work. I asked for lemon for my water four times and never got it, and she was just a bitch every time you asked for something. Not to mention they're inconveniently located 20 miles out of town and extremely overpriced for mediocre food. Never again...even if it's free. My blood pressure can't handle that type of anger. ;)
8. Congrats to Byron and Mandy on FINALLY tying the knot after 5 years of dating and 4 of living together. It's about time!
