(no subject)
I must admit I did have a nice Xmas....
Everything seemed to indicate that it would be the suckiest every, but my brother fills my heart with such joy it is impossible to be sad and let other unimportant things affect me. I slept almost all afternoon, ever since I got out of work til 9:30pm when my mom got home...and guess who was supposed to make dinner?? Oh well, I didn't even have money to buy groceries. So my mom left with my sister to find us some food. Anyway, my brother was the most excited little thing. He got me into cleaning the dinner table and fixing it nicely with Xmas decoration (we didn't even put up a tree since we're moving) and he helped me fix the presents too. He was singing carols all the time, but with such enthusiasm he almost made me cry. My mom hadn't returned from bringing dinner so went upstairs and watched Home Alone 2....(that had to be my Christmas fantasy when I was a child) and laughed and waited.
Anyway, mom got here at around 11:30 and we had chicken (ummm...ok, that was not the best xmas dinner, but i was starved) and cake and opened the presents. I got a new 29' TV, two bottles of perfum (Emporio Armani and Happy Heart by Clinique----I <3 em both) and some pens from my dad and my sister gave me a bunch of DVD's ( 1 Cowboy Bebop, 2 Lain and 1 EscaFlowne) so I can't complain much on the presents. I did feel bad though cuz I didn't buy anyone anything....except my bro who got a lot of Hot wheels cars and ramps. I'll have to catch up on presents by Three Kings Day....
I'm off to prepare the fancy dinner I had planned for yesterday....hope y'all are doing well.
