If you're one of my students, I sometimes stalk you. You should realize this.
Especially because you're classes are 3 minutes from my office and that makes you quite easy to find.
So, when you consistently go to your morning class but have blown off mine for 7 class periods so far this semester, I'm left to believe that you're either dumb enough not to know that I stalk you or you don't care and you're fine sending me the message that coming to class isn't on your agenda.
