Dear Yulegoat,
You can check out my yuletide tag to see my requests and wants/do not wants from yuletides past. I've been doing this since 2003, and it's been a blast every year. I am mtgat/Merlin Missy on AO3.
Basic likes: bright stories for the dark of the year, feel-good apocalypse fics, 1000 words of my OTPs chatting over coffee, madcap casefic adventures with the whole ensemble, drabbles, longfics, poetry, filk, magic, romance, angst with a happy ending, non-traditional holidays, and/or food porn. (Regular porn always welcome.) Tropefic of all varieties makes me happy. In general, I'm happy if you want to take any of my prompts in the direction of one of the outside challenges. Crueltide is outside my interests, and my eyesight is getting too poor to appreciate fan art. I am open to any ship configuration unless I've specifically said otherwise.
Basic dislikes: noncon/dubcon, character/actor/writer bashing, A/B/O and mundane AUs, original characters, harm to children. Please no harm to animals in canons where the animals are not the main characters. (Example: Bad things can happen to Retsuko, which Gori can kiss better, but please don't hurt a horse in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.)

This is the weird little subfandom that could. I loved Defender of the Universe when I was a kid, and I'm enjoying Legendary Defender, but VF is something special. Pidge and Vince are my faves. I love exploring Vince's connection with the Lions! I love that Pidge is a ninja DJ scientist! I love that Pidge gives up Green out of duty, and that Vince is ready to take on the role from him. Pidge gave him a new eye! I adore them. They can be science bros, they can be boyfriends (yes please!), just give me the two of them together nerding out or traveling home together or copiloting Green and I'll be happy. I like the other characters, especially Allura, Larmina, and Sven. The only secondary ship I'm interested in is Keith/Allura. I'm familiar with the tie-in comics and the epilogue comic (OH MY HEART) so feel free to incorporate that if you want.
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Deirdre Robespierre
On a show full of damaged people trying to build better lives for themselves, the utter moral vacuity of Deirdre Robespierre haunts me. She's smart, she's the kind of beautiful that will only become harder to maintain over time, she's scratched her way to the top of the Mommy Pyramid in their social circle, and she lied about a break-in when she shot herself. Deirdre's damaged and desperate. I want to know what she was and how she became this, and why she sacrificed every last ounce of her own soul for this empty life she hates. I don't ship her with Jacqueline, but I can definitely see a one-sided obsession on her part with this woman who chooses to throw away the things Deirdre has cut out own heart to get. Does she follow Jacqueline's lead and break away? Has she had an archnemesis before, and did that end with bloodshed, sex, cutting remarks at PTA meetings, or all three? Does Deirdre become a maniacal supervillain complete with haute couture cape and minions to touch up her roots with the blood of her enemies? Tell me more about her, please!

My main takeaway from Gori's interactions with Retsuko is that Gori has a massive, massive crush on her, and I love it. Does she ever admit to her feelings or does she pine, forever silent save when she sings out her feelings alone? Does Retsuko give up on her various failing relationships with men and realize what's in front of her? Do they break away from the company together and found a new, better company with Washimi and the gang from accounting?
