The kids have been watching Justice League a lot over the past few weeks, by their own request. We've been watching out of order, so this morning we watched "War World" and tonight we watched "In Blackest Night." I vaguely remembered that Kurtwood Smith did a voice in IBN, but I had not realized until just now that I actually expect every sentence he utters to finish with "Dumbass!" Which made the trial sequence much funnier. Plus, I had forgotten how much time Shayera spent in those two episodes gleefully beating up people, ships, and buildings. Good times.
Girlchild has started to read JL fanfic. This has led me to rapidly reconsider my personal ratings scale. Example: a particular drabble series, while extolling the virtues of a certain holiday-themed story also posits the non-existence of a certain bearded and red-suited jolly old elf. I did not remember this until after we'd opened the story.
On a different note, I've been podficced!

Went to Amusement Park of Doom today and chatted up The Riddler while watching a small horde (9ish) of old bald white guys in suits dancing to "Cotton-Eyed Joe." Strangely, no drugs were involved in any of this, but it does sound like a pretty bizarre hallucination now that I come to report it. No superheroes this trip, alas.
