It's been so long, yet I feel I've barely been gone...
So it's been... oh 5 months short of a year... Here's the short version
I quit FFXI because I was sick and tired of endgame / endgame linkshells and people saying they won't help you because you never help them yet you help them every time they ask for something and deny when you quote dates, times, and objectives.
gave away all kinds of gear (HQ Staves, etc)
gave the account to a friend to use as his PL bitch account
he lost interest in the game and I suddenly have more time so I'm back and playing...
Joined a small linkshell that does Salvage but I don't attend runs yet lol
Completed my Black Belt (FINALLY!!!)
Leveled Blue Mage and currently @72
Got Koggelmander
Need Chipped Scimitar and 1 Cobalt Ore for my Concordia
and I'm enjoying myself / the game again.... Endgame truly ruins this game because it then becomes a job..... and that's just wrong!
Moral of this story: Don't pay to have a job & if you do quit to the point of wanting to give stuff away sell your account afterwards or delete your character.
