so two things

The first being that after being assessed by the higher ups, MSP(medical services plan) of Vancouver has opted to cover my SRS. Which is sooooooooo dang awesome I wet myself periodically thinking about it(not really).

The conundrum as it were is as follows: My family while being totally supportive of my decision to transition has had some apprehension regarding the big snip snip as it were. While they want me to be happy and myself and all that jazz they still feel that i need to grow more in order to actually undergo the op. However, this was all expressed awhile back when it was thought that I would be paying for the op out of my own pocket. I'm somewhat hesitant to tell them the good news though as I don't know if i will be confronted with the same reaction or not. They've always said that they would rather i go forth, live on my own, have a steady boyfriend etc. before really taking the plunge. I really feel confused and overly anxious over the whole subject. I really just want some opinions, perhaps some advice, as to how i should handle the matter. Should i break the news and take the impending earful good or bad? Should i strike out on my own and live alone first before breaking the news? i mean the whole idea of being able to live under their roof was a big blessing so that i wouldn't have to recover on my own but should i just suck it up and take that risk? Seriously any suggestions?
