Yehoodi Radio DJ Set!
I'm the guest DJ on Yehoodi Radio this month, playing stuff from my collection of live music that I've amassed over the years. The background here is that from 2003-2005 I recorded hours and hours of some of the best live swing bands around, and most of those recordings have never ever been released, so this is the first time a lot of people are hearing them.
Really if I had my way I would put all the music up on a server and let people have it all for free, CC-licensed, the works. Sadly there are like a million different ownership interests, from me to the venue organizers to the musicians to the songwriters, so it's not really clear who actually owns these recordings. Until then this is the best we have.
They're really great recordings and worth a listen, so tune in this Thursday if you can:

There's a sample of the material and a small discussion by Jessie Miner and Manu Smith on the "Hey Mister Jesse!" podcast this month. They're really jazzed about the set and you should be too. It's pretty unique. Most of the material has NEVER been heard before.
