JACKHARKNESS UPDATE:
As I understand it, the current 'plan' is to produce and then air the third series of the SJA around the end of September through to December 2009. Then the fourth series of Torchwood will broadcast around February 2010 and conclude before the fifth season of Doctor Who (now helmed by Steven Moffat) kicks off. Following that, neither Torchwood or the SJA will be recommissioned, to allow Moffat a clean break, away from the interference that two spin-offs series - both closely tied to the mother show - would invoke.
As above... whut? No more Torchwood or Sarah-Jane?
